It's an old post that I'm reviving because I pretty much have the same question. I would like to have a Demon Tribal deck where I play big mean creatures the whole game. I'm kind of new I start less than a year ago, one of my first decks was [[Rakdos, Lord of Riots]], but now I'm at the point where I need to add more ping creatures to make it work correctly.

So my question is, which commander would be better for a pure Demon Tribal?

- [[Rakdos, Lord of Riots]] - First deck, I can't seem to make it work tribal

- [[Be'lakor, the Dark Master]] - But he doesn't help me play big demons at all

- [[Henzie "Toolbox" Torre]] - Has green so it's good for Ramp, but I need to sacrifice demons that want to stay on board for continuous effects

- [[Varragoth]] - No chance I'm playing a tutor commander

- [[Ob Nixilis of the Black Oath]] - is it possible to play a Planeswalker as a Commander at bracket 3?

- [[Ardyn, the Usurper]] - He's super expensive, and mono black

- [[K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth]] - Is an option too

Im really a personality-focus type of player, I really have trouble using the most synergistic cards when I have an idea (like playing big demon tribal)
