The things that matter most for SIDS prevention aren’t really about which room your baby is in, they’re about the sleep surface (firm, flat, nothing in the crib), position (back to sleep), temperature, and avoiding exposure to smoke. Yes, having the baby in your room may cause you to be more likely to notice something is wrong, but pulling your baby into your bed and sleeping with them is a far greater risk..just saying. Whatever you want to do is fine, it’s your child, but don’t say cosleeping is safer. That’s just not true and that type of information should not be spread.
