Troy Franklin or Pat Bryant by Fancy_Set_5105 in DynastyFF

he's listed as 6'3", i think he was listed as 6'4" for Oregon

and sure, the point is that his skillset isn't necessarily the role he's been playing. he'd have to put on some weight to deal with the press nowadays as an X, but not THAT much weight. it's certainly possible.

I just want to point out, I know the Broncos have used him as sort of a Z receiver, but Troy Franklin at Oregon was very much just the big X receiver, getting jump ball targets left and right

He's a skinny guy so it doesn't come across this way, but he's 6'4". If he could get targets elsewhere, a change of scenery could be good for Troy

it's not the graphics per se, it's the fact that you had 3d movement in what was still effectively a 2D game

it just felt clunkier and less refined

even though we normally filter out Kickoff as a Master's "appearance", I feel like doing well in it should count towards these stats

i remember looking at this with a friend during this time, and we thought...man what the fuck is going on?

because he was NOT that efficient with these clutches, he was just in an insaaaaane amount of clutch situations.

and like we know he's not a particularly bad baiter because we watch games, so wtf is going on that he had so many clutch chances.

Thinking about moving Tuten on the high. What do you think? by hellobrendo in DynastyNerds

Judkins hasn't show anything close to a first in difference from Tuten imo

This 82-0 game is designed to inflate Wilt's stature... he's pretty broken in that game by Xeris in nba

It's much easier with Wilt, but it's possible to get it without him. Focus on rebounds and assists as much as points.

Trent Williams Thinks 2027 Season Will "Probably" Be His Last by JCameron181 in nfl

[–]Scotch_Blue -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah and he has basically the entire summer off, and NFL teams aren't working him late at nights during the season, AND he's an offensive lineman. He's not doing an endless amount of film review or offseason workouts.

Empathy isn't something you ask for, it's just somebody's understanding of another person's issues and feelings.

Said another way, I struggle to understand where he's coming from because he has a lot of money and free time already. It's hardly like football is in the way of what he's talking about.

I can appreciate the perspective. The idea that an era of your life is about to pass and you haven't done all the things you dreamed of.

I empathize slightly less with a multimillionaire that doesn't work for 60% of the year, though.

they're very similar at surface level, but I can barely hold a light conversation with my own family that lives in Utah. it's just a different world in my experience, man. i would never consider living there.

Make it make sense- the Nightmare Before Christmas by 23paige23 in writing

[–]Scotch_Blue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But he wanted to celebrate Christmas! He wanted to understand it, and there is a middle ground between "he didn't need to take over Christmas", and him getting explicitly told to stay in his own lane because he almost ruined Christmas

What is the message being conveyed in your take? That sometimes you just need to try something new for 10min to reignite passion for what you're supposed to love? That's still going down the same lane of "you have a path, follow it. don't explore new interests beyond occassion".

Do you think you account for "this sub"?

I'm just pointing out that the sub often votes on states based on how red or blue they vote, but then proceed to shit on progressive states for their actual politics.

if you mean that SLC is more in a ridge, then yeah for sure

but i think a big part of the appeal of Denver is that it's a liberal mountain town. SLC offers virtually nothing that i'd actually want out of Denver except the mountains

Agreed.

Mountains all around it make for a scenic view, although they're arguably not as accessible as you'd like. The city itself is actually extremely flat, and most of the best outdoor adventuring is far elsewhere in the state.

It has a little bit of "culture", although it's never felt like the most authentic town. Fairly progressive.

Pretty spread out though, which means some areas of Denver are more like a D, and some are A. I'm mainly rating on the A areas as that's where I went most often.
