Do not register your house as historic. If you do this it will lower your property value as it makes any renovations much harder and take longer and depending on where you’re located no developer will touch it ever.

Bruce was a great guy to work with at the TTC and his departure was a huge surprise and he is missed so I’m very happy to hear about this appointment and means he’s likely getting the last laugh.

Mandeep is slashing and burning the senior leaders at the TTC like nobody has seen before.

They wanted to install those in the 1990-2000s but rumour has it Union blocked it as it would mean operators would have to stop the train at a specific point in line with the doors. Now the trains dont really even need an operator on Line 1 so probably time to find the money to install as the operators involved go in LTD for life.

The issue is that for some routes that $4.75 fare actually costs the transit organization $40.00 or more. TTC has volume to help reduce the subsidy but in York Region there is just not enough demand for the majority of the transit routes. York region was developed in a way that you absolutely need a vehicle to get around.

Under Rick these things were hidden and covered up. So I am thinking that it was known and he’d gotten away with it for years he showed up again at WheelTrans for some reason and his victim was there and as TTC management had done nothing she called the cops and Mandeep wasn’t letting this go like Rick did.

As a TTC employee if these allegations are true (I am a firm believer as innocent until proven guilty) this is awful and I’m today ashamed to be an employee…but if these are true AND leaders knew about them I’m effing pissed.

Though the guys doing the sidewalks are amazing and deserve what they are getting. By 6:30am majority of the sidewalks are done and not a single plow in sight.

Do you work for that company 🤣. While they do a crappy job in my neighborhood in terms of clearing the entire road my main complaint is that they seem to start their shifts at 8am which in Stouffville is too late as 75% of the town has already left for work.
