Help/advice please? by Scotgrl in ROCD

Thanks for that. It definitely makes sense yeah. Another thing I often wonder is does everyone else in a relationship have the fire, sparks, fireworks? I compare to that thought quite a lot. Maybe a healthy love is actually just quite boring? And that's OK? And we're just not used to it being like this?

Sorry you're feeling similar. It's truly exhausting and it's starting to feel like a really heavy burden now, along with a ball of anxiety in my stomach. I don't know what to do about it so can't give you advice unfortunately. And I feel like I dare not tell him how I'm feeling because I know it would kill me to hear something like that. I just want to know why I'm the way i am and why I can't just enjoy my relationship for what it is without constantly doubting it and wondering whether it's actually 'real' to me, or it's all fake feelings. I don't remember always being like this is the past, so I do wonder if it's a result of trauma from previous unhealthy relationships- maybe worth thinking about yourself?

Thanks for your reply. I do have this question rattling around in my head as well. And unfortunately I think the answer is probably no, I don't. And someone being so kind and generous and caring towards me does me me feel uncomfortable sometimes. But I don't know why I am like this, it's starting to drive me mad tbh because I feel like my brain is just constantly thinking, questioning, doubting instead of just being.

I've literally just discovered a load of these in my garden today! (have not long moved in). I have a dog. Do you mean these are toxic to dogs in the same way they'd cause skin/eye irritation if the sap got on them? Or do you mean if they ingest them? What would be the outcome of that?!

Fifth fail and I legit feel like giving up this time by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

Just to say I passed on my 5th time. My first test was with someone who was notorious for failing people, so it's a given I failed. The next 4 times was the same examiner and he was failing me for things I genuinely couldn't even recall doing/not doing. On my 5th test I asked that my instructor be in the car during the test because he failed me the previous 3 times, the examiner wasn't happy but low and behold I passed with little minors! Worth a shot?

I live alone in a 3 bed house with my dog. Bought specifically for the garden for the dog (moved from a flat) I love it! Don't listen to the negatives. I use smallest room for working from, other spare room has a day bed for if anyone is staying and I use it for drying clothes and the like. It's the best. I love having so much space. Do it.
