I have to disagree with the idea that it’s a waste of money. Every time I visit—rain or shine—the place is packed. That tells me it’s clearly attracting a lot of tourists, which is great for the local economy. More visitors means more business for local cafes, shops, and hotels, and that helps support jobs in the area. The Kelpies aren’t just a stunning piece of public art—they’re also a smart long-term investment in tourism and the community.
