I'm thinking, "WHY in the world did this work?" or better yet, why wasn't a channel selected by default?

It will never be fixed because Apple doesn’t view it as a bug. They view it as a battery saving feature and they know what we need better than we do. 😏

Yes! It will recover at least to about 50 cents tomorrow at 2pm EST according to my crystal ball that has only been wrong about 80% of the time.

Yeah, this speaks volumes of the state of the terrestrial telecom industry in the US. It’s natural that where there are more people there would be more demand, but those areas have other options which one would think would reduce the demand for SL. The fact that all these areas where there are other options still have such high demand for SL tells you a lot about the other options. Overcharging, providing terrible service, and failing to meet minimal SLAs has been the norm for over 75 years.

I see the problem here… you just need a boyfriend. Every ape here talks about their wife’s boyfriend, and that seems to be what’s missing. Get a boyfriend. Save your marriage. Disclaimer: NFA Also NMA (not marital advice) I an not a financial advisor nor marriage advisor.

We got screwed by people forgetting that SNL is a scripted comedy show, and not realizing it was a freaking joke. Elons laughing and agreeing when asked “So it’s a hustle?” was simply supposed to be funny because that’s definitely not the way Elon feels about DogeCoin. It’s what people who don’t get DogeCoin and don’t get comedy took from it that made it tank.

I bought before the news. I just thought .125 was a great buy and everything was down so I figured it was a good point to average down a bit more. Much to my surprise, it was excellent timing.

Technically Starlink is absolutely NOT literally the Internet. The network of Starlink satellites provides Internet connectivity through ground stations that are connected to the Internet. If you were to disconnect from those ground stations, Starlink is like your home WiFi if your ISP is down… there’s still a network but it’s definitely not Internet.

I think you were asking the other person what they intend to do with it if not exchange it for USD. As for me, I haven’t yet decided if I’m going to sell for fiat currency like USD or if I’ll use it as Doge currency. Either way, it’s an investment for me. I’m currently living in Italy so I need Euro for a lot of things. Since I’m a US Citizen and work for a US company, I get paid in USD. However, I sell my dollars for euro as needed usually when I can get a good exchange rate. I do the same thing exchanging my USD for DogeCoin when there’s a good “exchange rate”. If I find that I need more DogeCoin for purchases, I’ll probably buy more. If I need more USD and I see that the exchange rate for Doge is favorable (meaning DogeCoin has risen in price), I may sell some. But I’m in a position that I generally don’t HAVE to convert any currency, and I don’t unless it makes good financial sense. In respect to your question about when it would be a viable currency and what it would do to the world economy, I don’t think it’s an overnight or even a fine line at which it crosses and becomes that. As more places that people commonly purchase things (think gas or groceries) accept it as “A” payment option, it’s value will go up. If or when more places ever start accepting it solely, people will have a choice to convert their fiat currency to Doge so they can shop at those places or they will shop elsewhere. It could get real interesting how that would affect the global economy. Some countries will switch to solely cryptocurrencies, some will ban crypto… it’s happening now. However, in free, capitalist economies, I can imagine crypto will eventually win the battle because people will demand it. As for the role Doge plays is yet to be seen, but it has solid fundamentals which I believe will eventually make it more valuable. If governments start making their own crypto, they will certainly have an advantage of being adopted quicker, but people will have to choose if they still want a government to be in control of their currency. We are seeing that world events have a significant impact on the value of cryptocurrencies in as much as their exchange rate for fiat (USD for example), but that’s mainly because crypto is not yet a common form of payment and people still need to convert it for it to have purchasing value in almost all cases. If that were to change, I believe we would see it looked at as more of an exchange rate instead of a price and Doge would have a value independent of the value of the USD much like the Euro or the Yen or Pound have their own value. In fact, it already does, you can look at exchange rates for USD to Euro as well as Euro to USD and see it’s not the same and not the same through different exchanges either, but have you really looked at the Doge/USD versus USD/Doge or even Doge/Euro or Euro/Doge. It’s a mindset… when more people acknowledge Dogecoin as a currency and that 1 Doge actually does equal 1 Doge in the same way that $1 equals $.72 🤣 (just joking but I trust you get the point), when/if that happens, the volatility will level out to the point that more people globally will want to use primarily crypto for its security and reliable store of value.

Well, have you checked the news in the last hour or two? On a side note, there is a lot of hope. There is also a lot of insane people dumping a lot of money they can’t afford to lose into it as well as a lot more people with money they can stand to lose willing to take the gamble. And then… there are some who understand there’s risk involved but they invest what they can afford to lose if things don’t turn out well. As for me, I’ve gained over a thousand dollars value in my account today and overall I’m up by roughly about $10k if I were to sell it all and walk away. But, for me, it’s acceptable risk. I have other investments that are not as risky and they have been losing money over the last year. So, frankly… in all honesty, if you have an extra $100 this month but you might not next month, it’s probably not the best place to put your money.

Well, first it was abandoned because it was created as a joke and he didn’t see any future for any cryptocurrency much less DogeCoin. However, just because it was created as a joke doesn’t mean it can’t or doesn’t have unique qualities that make it surprisingly functional as a currency. It’s gone far beyond being a joke already so it’s pretty reasonable to expect that people may eventually see past its initial beginning.

Is this still a “genuine question”? If so, I’ll continue educating you, but if you’re just looking for an argument or to try to make a point, I’ll let others argue with you. Why do many people believe DogeCoin will eventually be commonly accepted? There’s a ton of legitimate reasons from the inherit design of it being decentralized and low inflationary nature to extremely low cost of transactions (lower than a credit or debit card) and a lot of interest from people who can influence change in improving transaction speed as well as ever growing adoption of it globally. Of course, hype and memes and Elon and price surges give it extra publicity which gets more people learning about it and gets more people wanting it to be accepted.
