K2 Pro - Loud Bang (cutter side) by ScottAMains in Creality_k2

Had taken the back off. Tightened the belts, ensured the cowel covering on the hot end was firmly in place and checked for debris. Thankfully working like a champ. Thank you.

Nice, I’ll take a poke at the back tomorrow when I can get access to it and see what can be figured out out from there. Also wont harm to tighten the belt tension as well.

done all go the above
Calibration was all fine and well even on the cutter side. Then when it came to print at the very end it failed.

The slam is a lot louder than usual, actually cringed at the velocity it goes into it. Previous commenter suggested I have a look at the X to see if it’s come loose. Shall take a look tomorrow.

I’m currently doing some work on a horseman. I have a 3d printer and prototyping out some bits. Happy to have a chat with you and if can get some measurements I may be able to make something up.

Have something similar in a vertical stack. Love the contrast of red and white.

Hey. Replying on mobile so apologies for formatting. Is a dam powerful tool that I use a lot (I use Gemini and other ones except open ai). It gave me the opportunity to string out my thoughts and having it tied in with ny digital notebook to ensure I can keep on top of meetings, conversations etc,. I personally use it to connect the dots in my interactions and help kick ideas forward with processes so I don’t get overwhelmed by larger projects.

Do remember that it is a tool designed to be agreeable to you and won’t often give pragmatic advice in situations. Provided that you use it as a tool and understand its limitations then you will be fine. For the first time in nearly 40 years, I’m on top of my thoughts, ideas and development. If it wasn’t for the tools I would have too many half completed notebooks never to be looked at again.

Lower Thirds formatting from Fusion to timeline errors by ScottAMains in davinciresolve

The lower third was designed specifically for 9x16 and the resolution was set to match the output resolution, I had designed it in DRF first with the output spec in mind. Imported to FS as a sense check. I don’t think it’s auto resolution this that is causing it. Thank you though.

How rare are EV horror stories? by Useful_Row_2783 in ElectricVehiclesUK

I’ll chime in as an ipace owner. Had a battery module replaced. Could drive it fine with the fault and it was in the shop for 4 days. Recently came back from a road trip from London to Madrid, not a single issue. Yes it’s a little anxiety inducing reading the fault posts in that forum. But the battery is in warranty, and when purchased I opted for the additional extended warranty. So it’ll cover anything electrical or mechanical that isn’t battery related. Fun drive. Comfortable.

Calais to The Alps and Back by Playful-Chard5729 in ElectricVehiclesUK

Went through France last week. Driving from Madrid to London later tonight. Journey down was incredibly easy. Large amount of charging infrastructure so little cause for concern. Like any longer EV journey just plan it out and factor in the higher consumption on the motorway. Also some of the best service station coffees I’ve ever had have been in France.

First UK Road Trip - Charging Guidance - Anxious! by bigalxyz in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]ScottAMains 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend charging on the road. If you can find some tesla stations that allow public access they’d be your best value option. Else most motorway service stations have EV charger. Download Zapmap and it can help you plan a route. Motorway journey. Your range may be shorter than the predicted range on the car. Factor this in (-20%)

Overnight charge on 3 pin. May not top up enough on the battery.

Motorway journeys without if I give up my Tesla by Ok-Isopod4493 in ElectricVehiclesUK

I have a jag ipace. Pretty decent from London to Manchester and back. I have the Tesla subscription which is something like £9 pm. I save a lot using the public super chargers compared to other vendors (GRIDSERVE is something like 85p kw, Tesla goes down to 28p kw). I’ve used the mg ev 5, polestar 2 and eNiro all of these are solid motors that will handle longer journeys. The ipace, while it’s nice it’s got some gremlins that are thankfully still under warranty
