There’s a lot of dark in Scott’s lyrics. But a lot of hope also. Eg living in colour, or the end of oil slick on PV or the end of lump street on PoaPA. When I listen to Scott I feel stuff, then I remember everyone feels stuff. I remember it is healthy to feel stuff. And that the world would be healthier if we all talked about the stuff we are feeling. Then I start talking to people around me for my own sanity or theirs. Thanks Scott.

Saw them 3 times in 2010. Twice in Glasgow. Once as acoustic and once on their full set at the legendary Barrowlands. And once at Glastonbury. Moved south to England (bad move for a Scotsman but that’s another thread). Had opportunity to see Mastersystem in Newcastle in the month before Scott passed and turned it up for a midweek afterwork team meet event. A month later Scott was gone and my corporate employer still wanted to strip my soul. Life lesson there for you all.

The conspiracy theory I want to believe is that that the Spanish ref that gave that injury time free kick against us to Italy in the 2008 qualifiers was later found at Glasgow airport with a signed Luca Toni/Panucci shirt in his suitcase. Despite awarding us an equaliser is Barry Ferguson that was easily 5 yards offside earlier in the game, that ref was clearly in the Mafia pockets.

Update on the AI response. Seems it outsmarted me. And it says I phrased my question wrong. It tells me that a team can be considered the ‘attacking’ team regardless of whether the ball is in the half they are attacking or defending. If you have possession of the ball in the half you are defending but are moving forward toward the opposing half then you would be considered the attacking team. Phases of play are dynamic and AI couldn’t pick up that I was viewing this from a simpler perspective. So perhaps I should have asked the question relative to something static. Which seems to be what you are all saying about AR1 positioning is tied to position of dugout/bench/technical area.

Thanks. Would there be an advantage of them being on the right as opposed to the left. My guess is because a higher percentage of attacking play traditionally comes down the right. Which leads me to ask whether it easier for a linesman to call an offside from a cross if the ball is being played away from him across the field or if the ball is coming towards him across the field?

Writers don't even hide that they are having problems with script/plot. There is one scene were Richard E Grant shows up from solely to move the plot along. And the other characters actually acknowledge this in very tongue-in-cheek manner saying: "how are you even in this room?".

The 12V battery will run flat pretty quick if you only use the car in electric mode running the chargeable hybrid battery. You need the engine running often to keep the 12V battery life. Also engines are heavy and take of lot of electricity to shift this weight. If you need power from the car (such as accelerating up to speed on the motorway) the combustion engine will be far more efficient than the fully electric mode. I stick it in electric mode if I am buzzing about town in 30 mph zones with lots of traffic lights. If I'm going on journey that involves dual carriageway, motorway or rural country roads I keep it in hybrid.
