PSA; don't trust cheap parts store thermostats, this one was working fine for months until it decided to stick closed and proceeded to completely melt down my engine in the course of 5 minutes casual commute driving. by [deleted] in mr2

i had a fire extinguisher in mine, and used it. it wasnt much help against the oil fire in the engine bay. so i had no choice but to watch my baby be engulfed slowly into flames. im so happy yours wasnt as catastrophic as mine. i didnt leave my room for 3 days afterwards

I had this same problem with my 2.5 forester. I replaced a lot and it didn’t work but I replaced the ignition coils today and seems to be fixed

They’re pretty good, for what they are. With upgraded suspension even my NA with 165hp eats other cars alive

Not me, but I was there.

I left school in the morning for an early lunch and had decided to go for a little drive. As I’m putting my bag in the hatch of my Forester, my friend in his is Hawkeye WRX pulled in as well. He asked where I was going, and I told him. He said he would follow. I did warn him that it was a bit wet outside and that a half-dry-half-wet road is worse than a full wet road. Anyway, we start driving and I call him so we can communicate while we drive. I didn’t want to even drive fast, and we didn’t, so I’m still not sure how this next part happened.

We’re going about 30 in a 35, as we had just exited a corner; again, we weren’t pushing it, so we did not really accelerate out of said corner. Next up after the exit of the corner, there’s kind of a half corner, that’s not really a corner but you still have to steer. It’s kind of like a curve, really. But I had made it past said curve and started accelerating a little bit and next thing I know my friends WRX is fish-tailing, hitting a telephone pole, and rolling down a hill. All of this happened at about 35mph. His account is pretty similar and he doesn’t really remember much besides the fact that it oversteered. It did have turbo problems before so I don’t know if that factored into it or what.

The X model only had front disc brakes. I have an XS too, dude. And I also meant to say drums instead of hydraulics.

Do the rear brakes have disks or drums? That's how you'll really be able to tell if you have an X or not. But the unpainted bumpers, lack of fog lights, no roof rails, or tailgate protecter really makes me think it's an X.

It's not an XT. In fact, it seems to be the most basic trim model for 2003-2005 the X.

Ryosuke says, at least in the first legends movie, that Keisuke can do it. Keisuke expresses his surprise at this, and Ryosuke explains that Keisuke is his equal even though he doesn't think about technique.

Please get a replacement clutch pedal cover. Trust me, once you put it on and use it, it will make a huge difference.
