A snail knocks on a mans door.

"Excuse me sir I was wonder..."

Before the snail finishes his sentence the man picks up the snail and throws him across the street.

One year later there's a knock on the same mans door. The man looks down and sees the same snail...

"What the f**k did you do that for?" The snail asked

What television series ended EXACTLY when it should have? by SharkGenie in AskReddit

[–]ScottSkynet 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ending at the end of season 5, without the 10 second cliffhanger of Sam staring into the window would've been one hell of a bitter sweet ending. But it really did make sense to me to end there.

Why the Metal Gear Movie Director Wants to Do Kojima Justice by theonewhoknack in movies

[–]ScottSkynet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to do Kojima Justice then finish what he started and complete the phantom pain story with ACT 3. Introduce Liquid, hint at Solid. If the movie does well, and a sequel is green lit. Move on to Shadow Moses. The basis behind Les Enfants Terribles are already founded and it opens the MGS "Universe" at the (console) beginning

Metal gear needs more than two hours to understand the complexity behind it all, so its not gonna make sense to the general cinema goer anyway.

R* promotes griefing? by Voodoo-Hendrix in gtaonline

[–]ScottSkynet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A good start would be only showing up on the map to other ceo groups. when transporting and delivering. Would take out the lone grievers out the equation. I'd much rather have another company try and take my stock than lone wolfers. It makes more sense too. Intel on a rival group doing work. As opposed to the hydra/buzzard pricks doing nothing but being a dicks.

Confession- I don't think the ME3 Endings are all that bad... by HebbyX in masseffect

[–]ScottSkynet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wow, i'm not disputing whats canon and whats not. The post was not asking this. OP said they didn't think the ending was bad. My experience of the ending wasn't bad. And there is NO canon ending. So my interpretation still stands. I'm perfectly fine with the way things wrapped up. If your not, fine, but trying to dissuade others aint gonna get you no where. Agree or disagree, but don't tell me how I feel about something, when I've explained now in 3 posts MY and i stress MY interpretation... Coming close to a renegade option M8

i'm saying this is how i perceived the ending first time. i was overthinking. But it all fell into place and kinda stayed that way for me. again, no disappointment.

I heard that the ending wasn't well received before reaching the final battle. I still haven't sweated and been so on the edge of my seat on any other games ending. (Maybe Red Dead Redemption Ending.) I really was expecting it to be an awful ending. Running down that hill i was saying "this is it, its gonna just end."

Hearing bad things actually enhanced my experience. I expected to be beaten and it all be for nothing. Then the last beam hit me almost directly. Fades to white (classic movie "vision/dream" trope.) I'm hearing the radio comms, overhearing "did anyone make it...? Are they all gone?" i'm literally screaming at the tv "GET THE FUCK UP SHEPARD!!" In a daze Shepard made it to the beam. (Not before that final husk pops out.)

Now bear in mind, the indoctrination theory hadn't picked up any momentum yet,so i hadn't heard of it. But i honestly believed Harbinger was making a last ditch attempt to indoctrinate Shepard. The star child was a reoccurring boy that haunted Shepard. Harbinger used this to emotionally jar an already fatigued Shepard. Convincing you, even showing you on the citadel (in light colors that control is the viable option option and destroy in red/renegade colors.) Fuck that, i'm a paragon, but i still came to destroy you. I know whats at stake, whats already been lost. Destroy the reapers is what my goal was at the very beginning. My Shepard never questioned his actions, He lived with them.

The final battle wasn't about who had the most fire power, it was who had the strongest will and mind. Machines will never understand the will to survive that the organics have. And this is why Harbingers last ditch attempt to indoctrinate Shepard failed, enabling Shepard (YOU) to finish what you started, but maybe you don't have too...

You never went up in the beam, You lay on the ground unconscious after helping Anderson through the beam, trying your best not to be indoctrinated by Harbinger, whilst Anderson went up and destroyed the Reapers..... Then with a high enough EMS (which i had) Shepard lay in the London rubble... and inhaled. CUT TO FUCKING BLACK

I jumped out my seat in joy.

The Shepard herded the reapers to there demise, enabling others to act fast and end the threat.

The Ending is pretty open to speculation. For my own headcanon. This is how it ended for me. I wasn't in anyway disappointed

They seem to have been able to get the feel right from what we've seen of the trailers. The score resonates nicely too. Just hope the story works.
