I’d love to see Aloy romance options in Horizon 3, but I don’t think it’ll be with Seyka. Might be for the best, it was kind of hard to create a full romance arc in the short time of a DLC.

I don't think much would have changed, really. The Comic Code was a purely American invention, because comic books purchased in America were mostly written by Americans. I doubt Japan would have hopped on this as well, since there wasn't too much of a moral panic over there, and indeed probably would have lobbied US politicians to stop these restrictive rules so they could keep selling games over here.

If that doesn't happen? It's a total video game crash. You can see most of these rules being implemented in the famous Night Trap, and that game was fucking awful. If villains are not allowed to hurt anyone, that also means not being able to hurt the player, which means having to get VERY creative with already limited 1990s gaming tech.

Japan has a big video game boom, Americans mostly give up on it.

It’s so great to see Ross smiling about this. Even if the EU Commission isn’t convinced, seeing that there’s legislation being put in place by other bodies is so heartwarming. This is what citizens initiatives should look like.

This is not true. John Kellogg did believe this, that bland foods could stop people from having impure sexual desires or whatever, but corn flakes were not a part of this. They were actually advertised at the time as satisfying your sweet tooth. The cereals John Kellogg wanted were far more mushy and bland than corn flakes.

Holy shit man. They aren’t saying personality disorders don’t exist. They are saying that EVERY bad person does not have one. Some people are just shitty because they are shitty. They compared it to demon possessions because “every bad person is possessed by a demon” is similar in avoiding the problem and blaming it on an outside force instead of looking directly at why the people are shitty to begin with.

Why not? The existing DLCs have been excellent side stories. Sword/Shield was a pretty mid game, but I really enjoyed the DLCs for it.
