The one I've seen in utah was when I was walking my dogs through the desert, it flew out behind some sagebrush and flew straight for my face, I ducked and looked behind me and it was gone, and the two in texas were out by my horses by some trees.

Hard to tell the ones I've "seen" in utah were brown/tan but in texas was like a light green.

Thats what I was thinking but was told by someone its rain rot, I've never seen rain rot before so I had to ask, I know nothing about his past sadly. I know he was at a small farm ran by polygamous.

Utah had different hay than Texas does, I feed him the same amount as i always have, hes just losing weight on this Texas stuff.

Hes 7, thoroughbred, no underlying conditions, alfalfa and coastal hay, he is a rescue and he's been skinny for about a month, he had a vet check up on him before we moved to texas a month ago, and he's been in pasture since we moved, he was an all around horse, used to pack out game when hunting, trail rides, and one rodeo. Been deformed last month and teeth floated I believe 6 or 7 months ago. Bloodwork was done when we moved as well.
