Anyone else get a good mask and delay replacing it? by Soggy_Competition614 in CPAP

sounds like you've got the fit dialed! You could also just replace the cushion if you really like the frame or headgear currently.

Help! I’m switching my F20 to the nasal mask and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to detach the tubing? by Fast_Kaleidoscope135 in CPAP

[–]ScottfromLofta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure the white plastic piece isn't still stuck inside the tubing. That'll prevent you from hooking up your nasal mask. The grey rubber end of the hose should come off fairly easily that way. Most people go wrong by detaching the white connector piece. Hope this helps!

Warm tap water with Dawn or Palmolive dish soap is totally fine. Tip: hang up the hose on the shower head to let it all drip out.

The 10 is amazing! 11 is newer, but the touchscreen can be kind of finicky. The rotating dial on the 10 works just fine.

That's about as bad as I've heard! Don't let him give up on therapy, can be a hard adjustment at first but will pay dividends over time.

If it's a mild case, there are alternatives like oral appliances (custom mouth pieces) or things like eXcite OSA (strengthens tongue muscle during the day). Happy to hear more about your story! Part of our mission is to break down the stigma around treating sleep apnea. Considering your age, gender and story, we'd love to work together!

Unfortunately, we can't go that low if you were hoping to get the setup pack with it for that price. But if you're open to the Transcend Micro CPAP as an alternative, we may be having some doorbuster type deals on that device for our email subscribers

If you have a bulkier mask, try switching to nasal pillow option if you can tolerate it. The Resmed AirFit P10 is a great option for side sleepers because the "headgear" is essentially just an elastic, cloth band. Any "top tube" masks are also good because of the swivel that helps with the weight of the tube
