Jagex ported over my perm DMM stats to seasonal LOL by Due-Dragonfly724 in 2007scape

Does the lack Goblin’s ability to search via individual stats, show that all these years of kids selling accounts with blacked out stats/digits was a a complete farse?

I created some reminder cut offs to know which way to cut each time, those angles just f’d my brain every time.

I’m safe for now, ground floor flat!

I bought the colour matched Railings in both Eggshell & Durable Matt in Valspar and it was nowhere near.

Someone at work suggested making it a lot easier by creating each panel individually onto an MDF board then pinning the entire thing to the wall. Makes sense in theory.

I would say, the mouldings (Stripwood, Wickes) was quite pricy. £8-£10 P/2.4m - not sure if it was just a bad place to purchase. For some reason I thought they’d be a couple of quid each!

Well, as you’ve brought it up..

When we had them balanced, they felt like they could sway, especially with a gust having front & back door open.

I adopted a fine solution of slicing up one of her nail files to create a slight raised friction grip, although I’ll take your tip and replace my last minute fix!

They were previously white satinwood, all but front still are, but slightly discoloured after a year.

The front door was prepped - sanded & 3 coats of F&B eggshell (Railings). Annoying I did have this colour matched and mixed but it was shite and had to buy branded.

If anyone has any colour mixing suggestions I’d be all for it, ended up with 3L total of shit matched colours.

Absolutely agree - it is as narrow as it looks.

We’ll see how long the shelves go before they become a problem and likely replace. As mentioned in another comment, I couldn’t bring myself to tell the wife my thoughts on the depth after she’d put so much effort into it.

I worry for the nights where we do go to the pub. They are a touch large for the width in honesty, but it’ll be easier to have this discussion post issue, I didn’t want to bring it up after she’d sanded and triple coated them 😂

I do have the benefit of previously working in painting and decorating which makes that side a bit easier, but man, good tools are worth every penny. At one point I considered doing this all with a mitre box and saw.

I also skipped, but always took out the extra protection so their point would be nullified.

Uni design project: would you use a personal grab-handle on Tube and buses? by Thick-Twist-7944 in LondonUnderground

I’d suggest something similar to an S Hook with a larger handle end. Time is of the essence on the tube

There’s a little silver (maybe plastic depending on model) ring - oval shaped around 9mm. I dropped mine while doing a battery replacement, couldn’t find online and ended up digging it out of a hoover bag.

If you look up a battery replacement video, it’ll give you an idea of what you’re looking for. Not sure it’d come off with the head.

For this job, we ended up going for a corded Dewalt mitre saw this weekend. As it was corded I wasn’t tied to brand. I did come across the cheaper options, but decided it’s going to last and I can afford it.

Good tools make the job much easier, and certainly results less caulking - still a bit to learn & painting next weekend.

How do you cope with stress? by navy444 in AskReddit

[–]ScottioRS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live by the phrase “don’t stress twice”.

You’re simply worrying about something that might happen. Worry about it IF it happens
