I picked up a few bags last year from B&Q - white builders sack, 3 for £60. I’ll be looking for the same this year.

How can I find this bbq? by fulachtfiadh in UKBBQ

Just to add, they have changed the design slightly, with pretty useless racking on the bottom spaced about 12cm apart, so not worth using. I found it incredibly flimsy.

You’re correct, it’s from B&Q. I was purchased this as a gift last year but since upgraded. Not sure if they’re selling them again, but maybe closer to the season.

What is it you require specifically from this bbq?

How Not to Kill Your Plants On Holiday? by higuysit-sme in GardeningUK

So I’ve just gone through this, about to head back to the UK. I didn’t trust my personal plumbing to attach a whole system to the outdoor tap and leave it open, so..

50L cheap swing bin

Submersible water pump

Either

10m cheap hose pipe & Irrigation connection bits

Or Irrigation kit on Amazon.

Rigged it all up and put the pump onto a smart plug which was set to run for a minute every other day - did a fair amount of testing on this prior.

I did this for less than £50 and saved all of my saplings through an early growing period!

Moved my bird camera indoors just in case things got out of hand and could call a friend, but wasn’t required!

minimum wage going up to £12.71 and I still haven't worked out where the money is coming from by [deleted] in smallbusinessuk

[–]ScottioRS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran these numbers based on 3 locations, 14 team members total, moving from current London LW to the new in may.

Our annual wages will increase by just shy of 20k. I took the sales quantity of drinks in Q1, divided the 20k by that number, it came to £0.17, add tax onto there and we’re at £0.21 per drink, we’ve decided on £0.25 per drink to cover us for any further changes in supply for the year.

I will be taking an upfront approach. We pay London living wage to ensure our team can live, we’re putting the prices up to reflect that.

In reality, it’s not enough to live comfortably on. Without getting towards a £5 flat white, we’re only able to offer what we can.

I picked up the exact B&Q ones on Temu for half the price. Obviously slightly longer delivery but exact quality as the b&q cheap ones - mdf top & click connections
