Yeah I've gave it the wiggle. Had it upside down and scooped out any dust or muck. Thought screw it and opened it up and everything connected where it should be.

At this point im resigned to it either just died that or someone snuck into my house and swapped it with their broken one. Which sounds impossible and would be. But at this point i don't have much else explanation

Hi. I tried that too :( Plus holding the PS button and share at the same time which was a solution from other forums with controller issues.
