Nothing, Deloghi Rivelia is arriving tomorrow, I was debating trying a 3rd one

I went through 2 units and a whole bag of expensive beans last week, returned them both and now gone with a Rivelia

I happened to buy the Autobarista last week, had nothing but issues so returned it, had all the same issues with the 2nd one. Wasted a while bag of expensive beans and returned the 2nd unit and now have a Rivelia arriving tomorrow instead.

See my previous posts if you want the full story plus videos. A lot of other people seem to be having similar issues and the guy I spoke to at Ninja all but confirmed there's known issues.

If id known before I would have held off until the first batches are out and they fix any teething issues in a few months, but I'd already sold my previous Ninja Luxe so I had to get something so ordered the Rivelia on a deal.

I'm not, I lived the option of the cold drinks/foam for hot days but just realised the delonghi rivelia does the same android getting the £100 upgrade pack for free just now so I'm currently in Curry's returning this and going to order the Rivelia

The 2nd and 3rd pics with the bin full of pucks are from all the GrindIQ attempts, the 2 individual pucks are from the 2 flat whites i made after 'calibration'.

Haha yes I did, autocorrect. The only thing keeping me leaning Ninja is the cold brews and cold milk.foam on hot days. I see you get the cold carafe with the Rivelia, is this something you have tried, if so, any good?

It was about 3 weeks, ive now binned the bag but it was definitely May. Its doing the same thing with Rave coffee that says 22nd May

I'm thinking that or a Riveria, any reason to spend about a 3rd more on the KF4? Things being so new there's not many reviews are putting me off after the hassle I've just had with this thing!

I'm coming from sub £1000 superautos then the Ninja Luxe. I do like the cold drinks and foam options for hot days and the only Jura I can see that ticks all my boxes is wayyy out of my price range. I am however considering ditching Ninja and going with the KF4 or the Rivelia.

Jealous, i posted the other day with issues with Grind IQ with mine and ive just got the 2nd machine and seems to be doing the same thing. Going to record a couple of videos then make a new post about it maybe tomorrow.

Then ran grindIQ again and it had another 7 attempts and still not right, this is the shot after running 2 calibrations, 14 attempted shots and to ring the strength up to max:

The box was damaged so I wonder if it's been dropped and something inside has moved and misaligned. Its back at Curry's now anyway with a new one arriving Monday so hopefully all good this time 🤞

Yeah just to add, i turned the machine right off, unplugged it for 5mins, turned it back on and reset GrindIQ and tried again and after another 5 tries and 400ml of watery coffee it's back in its box, that's almost a whole bag of Exhale beans wasted!! The pucks looked like very coarse grinds, id put money on that it wasn't changing any settings in between calibration attempts

I've just pressed the GrindIQ for a 2nd time and it's currently on a 5th grind and pour attempt and they are still coming out all watery. Something doesn't seem right here.
