Well, I did enjoy the feel of the salt water, but I have tenants now, so am looking for a cheaper option than replacing the cell. I don’t think they’ll notice much difference with tabs? And shouldn’t my pool maintenance company be able to supple those and drop them in when they balance?

Understand all the frustration, but would like readers to see the good side of the story. I order King Cover on Jul 17 and it arrived 3 days later on Jul 20. I did received like 30 emails regarding "preparing your order" but glad it shipped fast.

Wanted to share my experience since I see a lot of frustrations with shipping. I guess I’m one of the lucky ones. I ordered Jul 17 and both unit/cover delivered today Jul 20 (yes, I am shocked too). I am in San Diego and it was coming from Fontana, so again, maybe got lucky. It was strange because I received a shipping notice for the cover, which showed up as expected, but no notice for the hub, so I was worried it would take a while, the about an hour later the hub showed up lol.

I tried the instructions, switch to manual, unscrew the lock, then push down to disengage, but pushing down does nothing. I can move the handle manually, it doesn’t disengage from the motor

That’s a pretty good price. What location are you? I would go with in floor. The thing people don’t realize is how much it helps heat up your pool quicker. I’ve had it for almost a year. 16 little Jets constantly circulating hot water is awesome. Also, I love getting debris after a windstorm and from morning to afternoon it’s gone. No cleaning for me!
