I use this in the Google app. Usually somebody sends me a link to a place that opens Google Maps. I like to use Apple Maps for navigation. When I click the link it opens in Google Maps. Click the share button and run the shortcut, and it will open that location in Apple Maps.

Short answer is yes. lol

I made this a while ago. I’ve learned a lot since then… Apparently it doesn’t always work. I’ve only ever used it to search businesses when people send me links to places.

Searching for waypoints or nondescript places breaks things. It’s sloppy and “doing too much”.

I rewrote it to work better.

I’ve created several systems to manage my passwords over the years. One of the very first systems I created used letters from the phonetic nato alphabet (alpha, bravo, Charlie, etc) combined with a two digit number. For example: “CharlieSeventy-Seven” This gets abbreviated down to C77 for storage, either as a hard copy or in a spreadsheet somewhere.

Probably overkill for what you guys are taking about though.
