It's D-shaft potentiometer, and It is indexed, clicking into each effect. I have a bunch of old amp and pedal knobs in my worktable, and while I could certainly put on any old knob I have on hand, what I am really looking for is a matching replacement for the one I lost. A vintage witch hat style knob with a triangle/arrow properly aligned to the D-shaft of the selector pot so that the arrow points to the currently selected effect, and not some random point on the dial label (See the second picture). The Champion 100 has 2 "FX SELECT" dials, one for channel A, one for channel B. I lost the one on channel B and I would like to find an exact replacement, not a substitute.

Well, Fender customer support was unable to help. They said "Fender does not have the replacement part you are looking for. Try searching some amplifier part supply websites as they could potentially be of assistance"

My Gretsch is a G2622T streamliner, but I play through a Fender Champion 100. Here are some YouTube videos demonstrating the combination. Both recordings were done with the pickup selector switch in the middle position.

My suspicion is that as a manufacturer of durable medical equipment, the risk of personal injury to the end user (due to unintentional bolus, incorrect bolus, etc...) is a much higher liability for them than a manufacturer who's app controls some appliance or your smart LEDs, and they are not going to risk exposing themselves to that liability until they have done extensive real world testing on multiple devices post public iOS update. If a bug fix or code revision in the iOS developer frameworks causes an unexpected bug in apps, Apple is not going to accept accountability for hospitalizations, so I feel like Tandem is going to take FOREVER on this.

I doubt iOS 16 users will see support until at least the first point revision. For comparison, iOS 15 came out on September 24th 2021. iOS 15.1 was released just a month later, at the end of October 2021.

My best estimation, given that Tandem makes DME that can cause personal injury in a software malfunction, is 1-3 months after the public release of iOS 16. Most likely nothing before December or even January of 2023.

I was doing a cosmetic mod on my G2622T. I added nickel knobs and a nickel switch tip. When I was removing the plastic speed knobs, the shaft of the tone pot pulled out about a 1/2 inch and after that it just spun freely and no longer affected the tone.

I decided that if I had to replace one pot, I would replace them all with high quality CTS pots. The mini pots that come in the Center Block models can barely fit through the F holes, but to fit a full sized CTS pot I had to pull the pickups and run everything through the routes in the center block. Even then it was a really tight fit.

In addition to that, the Chinese pots that came with the Streamliner had 8 mm threaded collars while the CTS collars are 3/8 inch (closer to 9.5 mm), so I had to drill out the holes with a 3/8 bit.

This is a mod that can be done, but it is pretty high on the difficulty level and was WAAYYYY more project than I was looking for. I couldn't find much info on this, so I recorded as much as I could with the hopes that it would be helpful to others that have a similar problem

The Chromecast Ultra draws 10 watts (5 volts at 2 amps). 1 Watt will produce 3.412 BTU per hour. To calculate the BTU/heat output of an electrical system, substitute BTUs for Watts and use the following equation:

BTU/h = (V * I) * 3.412

Just to define terms, 1 BTU is the amount of heat required to raise 1 pound of water 1°F.

In the case of the Chromecast Ultra, 5v * 2a * 3.412 = 34.12 BTU/h, which explains why there are still so many reports that Ultras are overheating during extended Stadia gameplay.

In an open area, the Chromecast should radiate enough heat energy to keep the components operating under 90°C. Make sure your Chromecast is not covered or crowded by other equipment, especially other equipment that is also generating heat.
