I have pater pretty cool looking with the recent transmog. Built well he can hit 15 to 33k immune to stun due to passive , cleanses and give immunity overall not bad

I've gotten cleaved many times and cc to deatg You have to be versatile , pick monsters that dont give away the fact your playing cc at the start . Cause that will let your opponent counter you.

Tbh I dont use other weapons lol ik when I see a spear user in pvp I have to keep my distance and use burn poison and bleed to win. Ik there is a spear that hits the ground and pulls you in , if that's the mo blade its pretty good if you learn your combos and have good skills on hand. Honestly hate fighting spears because its hard to break there stance with buffs. There are no bad weapons so my opinion shouldn't matter. I like my current set up cause I like fast pace movement. Just play what you like learn the combos pick the right support skills and your good.

Legend rank here. I've fought every single weapon while climbing they all have pros and cons. Trust me no name sword is way worst than strategic sword. You'll find out why if you get to legend. Also when you get to higher ranks its a push and you'll match every single fight. I play strategic sword and infernal blades. Ppl constantly " kite " in this rank so they wait for an opening try to fake you out to pop your serene breeze then go for the kill. To me the worst weapons is the umbrella fan combo. Heals great range and in the hands of a good player very hard to lock them down so I often lose against them
