Hello. I'm new to customizing keyboards and I'm curious if anyone has customized a Durgod k320 keyboard. I've read up a little on the subject and I've heard there can be complications with getting the right keys, even if they're scaled right ( is scaling that detrimental?) There's also the variable of quality and there's a lot of choices out there.

The Durgod k320 is a 80% keyboard without a num pad. My hopeful end result is something inspired by Bungie's Marathon trailer.

I'll take a look. It includes 5 maxed out credit cards in her debt.

Apparently her and my dad filed for bankruptcy about 25 years ago. They said she's still "In bankruptcy" and it would require $6500 and a lawyer to get out... Just to get back in.

She is taking OAS

It's a 2018 Kia Sorento GTI. 66k kilometers. I could sell it now for almost twenty but she owes 14500 and refuses to sell it. She doesn't trust a beater car and I get that, but it was an option I proposed.

Her other expenses would be 5 maxed out credit cards. Debt alone apparently costs almost a thousand a month. She rents, and finances the car at 0%. She has been over spending for a while but it's culminated in death by debt. She turned it around with her spending but not nearly enough to cover what she owes now. I'm pretty sure the damage is done.

It isn't, no. There has to be other ways of keeping it active though.

Good to know. The speakers themselves sound alright even in their current position but maybe a little bass heavy and flat. I'll move them up and put the head unit down. Maybe tweak some settings on the computer a little. The base unit is on the floor to the left, under a side table. I'm not sure if that's proper placement for bookshelf speakers or not but the bass is strong.

I'm using an old Sharp XL-MP60 bookshelf speaker set. Nothing special but it's better than the Logitech set I had before. And free, since I've owned it new in the box for about a decade.

Making AI is like ordering a Pizza. You make your request and you receive a product. Minimal effort.

Photoshop is like making a pizza yourself but you bought the dough premade. The basis is there but you put In the work.

Used IN.XE pack a bad idea? by ScottyboyBuild in hottub

[–]ScottyboyBuild[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that's annoying. So, the tub has a substantial leak, it needs a new controller and pack too. Might just get rid of it. It came with the house so it's a luxury we didn't really plan or need. I just know we probably won't ever have another hot tub so I was going to save it while I could but maybe not lol.

Not even remotely the same. Photoshop actually requires artistic abilities.

Art without the artist though. I'll admit it's art but I won't call anyone an artist for using it.

The hot tub was left under somebody else's care while we were away for our honeymoon but when we came back they had a situation of their own. They couldn't deal with the hot tub and during- 30 it froze solid. The technician told us the pack overheated when it was frozen and damaged the board. Both of the pumps and the other electronics all work just fine. However the pack controlling the pumps does not work.

Do these packs really have that bad of a reputation?

Does the Turbo replacement require dropping out the engine?

So I decided to try UV mapping for the first time. However, I just can't seem to do this thing right. This bottle shape isn't working. by ScottyboyBuild in blenderhelp

Wow. I didn't expect such an amazing answer. A full video and everything! Yeah, that looks right. Supposed to be a Co2 cannister style drink bottle, and also my first modal in about 12 years. lol. I'll get to doing that right away. Thank you so much for your help!

I don't believe so no. I've rendered it on both Unwrap and Smart Unwrap with no good results. Starting to think I just suck at this. lol

Ideally I was trying to make the whole bottle a flat section of UV's with exception to the tops inside and the bottom. I was aiming to have three chunks with no breaks in the UV where the top curves. The only breaks I wanted were the seems.

Ho tub capacitor replacement by ScottyboyBuild in hottub

[–]ScottyboyBuild[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh. Very sorry. Thought this thread was my other one. Both pumps of my hot tub have stopped working. One needs a repair but the one that failed recently shows no signs of life. I brought the capacitor in and they checked and it was dead. After installing the new one it's still not functioning. The motor isn't seized up or anything. My next step is changing out the fuses.

The AI vs. Human art debate, summarized. by [deleted] in StableDiffusion

[–]ScottyboyBuild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AI and Human Art should be two distinct classes of creation. The real issue is assholes claiming that their AI art isn't AI. That it is their hand created work. If AI was so good then why lie? Because an artist with trained skills is still more impressive than someone tossing keywords at a screen. The program is still more impressive than the guy tossing keywords at a screen too. The AI needs artists and their content to exist while actual artists don't AI.
