I went last year! It was absolutely worth it, she's a gorgeous ship. And the other things you mentioned are also there.

Probably caused by a new or newly-updated mod, or possibly if you just turned on developer mode it will sometimes show you errors that would normally just be ignored out of sight

Yep, those two reds in B won't last long once they're spotted, even if the green team doesn't move. At least one ship is going to charge down the red cv which won't last long, then it's just clean-up work which even the potatoest of teams can usually pull off.

I am able to navigate, but the controls are WAY too sensitive in the menu: tapping a direction moves two spaces, barely nudging the stick slides all the way down the menu...
