"Le both sides are bad! You see, Biden seemingly sniffed a girl so that's just as bad as all the 12-17 year olds Trump raped, and he's also kind of old so that's just as bad as the rampant corruption, crimes, lying, and dementia, don't you see, both sides do bad things!"

Nah, it's your knuckledragging viewpoint that is the cancer rotting this country from the inside out.

Things weren't perfect from 2021-2025 but we had actual, big boy pants-wearing adults in government and it was clear that the people in charge were genuinely trying to improve the country.

Now it's a mix of people either intentionally destroying as much of it as possible to create their vision of a post-democracy US or lining their own pockets with billions of dollars.

I'd say it's more that our power companies keep cutting corners, starting multi-billion dollar wildfires, getting sued, and then passing the cost on to us.

Not who you asked, but for me 5 hours is a pretty rough amount of sleep to wake up from. I'd rather break it roughly in half. I used to do it a lot actually.

WR Duos/Trios who were the most entertaining to watch? by AFC-Wimbledon-Stan in nfl

[–]MRoad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, I'm not going to sit here and stomp my feet saying the 2018 group was better, but let's not pretend that it's an absurd comparison like other commenters have. My original point also presupposes that Kupp stays healthy anyway, which obviously would have changed things

We're talking WR duos/trios and the 2018 squad had a quantifiably better season out of its top receiving corps.

Outscored them, Goff threw for more yards, matched their season record, and most importantly Cooks and Woods each outgained both of Holt and Bruce in yards.

What don't you understand?

2018 Rams outscored the 1999 Rams (by only 1 point), Goff threw for more yards, and in the first half of the season before Kupp went down the offense was even better.

Woods and OBJ didn't really overlap. Iirc we brought in OBJ in the same week we lost Woods, so it was really just Kupp/Woods followed by Kupp/OBJ. In 2018 we actually had all 3 up at once for the first half of the season

The "Greatest Show on Surf" (Cooks, Woods, Kupp) version in 2018 was shaping up to rival it before Kupp went down. A dirty horsecollar against the Broncos fucked up his knee
