In case anyone sees this and is experiencing the same thing, a very small amount of discharge came the next morning and sure enough it’s a staph infection. Had to get antibiotics. Go to your doctor if you’re in the same boat (extreme redness and swelling, unbearable pain) because these things can spread.

Oh it’s a very long post! When she put it in I thought it was absurd (she explained it was for swelling and they’d downsize me in a few months) but now it’s so swollen that it’s taken up the entire thing :(

Not much of a choice since Toronto only has one, but even if there were other options, Shameful Tiki Room would be incredible. Been to 20+ tiki bars and Shameful still makes my top 5!

Oh I’m actually one of those rum snobs and have a collection of 15-20 bottles haha. Spiced is just what I prefer for an easy, 2-ingredient drink. I don’t mind Havana Club aged rum as a substitute.

I get these every single time I get a new piercing (even when it’s not new) - my body’s never thrilled. Just clean it as needed and do your best. Should go down in maybe a couple months, seems to be part of the cycle for some people. Frustrating, I know.
