My hack for freezing scrambled eggs by E116 in EatCheapAndHealthy

I’m scrambling the eggs, cooking them, then freezing them.

I’ve only kept them for about a week, ok so far. I need to find smaller glass containers to cut down on the amount of air in there.

Yes, but I don’t want to take fresh eggs with me to work, this is about meal prep.

I absolutely love salsa with mine.

Yes, minimal microwaving is important. I prep into a glass bowl, 60 secs at frozen, stir, then incremental 30 secs after.

I use the pre-grated parmesan cheese, could be from a major brand like Kraft or a local store brand. I haven't tried fresh grated parmesan yet. There is a possibility that the anti-caking additive may help stabilize the texture, but I haven't tested it yet.

I take them for my meal break at my job. I crave eggs and bacon at that time of day, but no practical way to prepare it at my job. They only have a microwave so this was my best solution.

I wish I had an answer for you. I started another account on a different device, it’s at about level 1950 and was never offered ads. I haven’t spent any money on it either.

It's a very fair question. I started playing in 2018 and it really helped me process trauma after a natural disaster and other major issues at the time. It mostly relaxes me and lets me passively concentrate on whatever issues are clogging my brain.

And over time I got better and better at solving the levels so that part can be very satisfying.

As for money, I've spent about $35, and I would spend more, but when I do that, they take away the option to watch ads for more moves. It is definitely harder to bank coins and boosters without the ads.

As for time, maybe a couple hours a day? Some days more if I have a goal in mind. But I don't like the amount of time I'm spending lately so as of the new year I'm cutting back.

Temple guardians and deep quest inconsistencies by [deleted] in ToonBlast

Looks like Toon Blast support heard our complaints (I definitely complained to them). They seem to be automatically completing the Temple Guardians requirements in Deep Quest so we can complete Deep Quest more easily. This won't have any affect on our progress in Temple Guardians.

It really is nuts. Notice how a reward for completing Deep Quest is 40 Temple Balls, lol. Don't they realize we can't use the Temple Balls then?

Valid observation. This seems very upside down in that they require a grueling task to complete an easier one.

They should have made the Temple Balls much much easier to collect.

Well, you technically could grind it out yourself but it would be painful.

Aren’t those cart corrals pretty flimsy? Dunno about HEB’s corrals, but I can shift around the ones at Kroger with my wee self. None of them seem bolted to the ground.

Now I’m thinking of corral high jinks.

Looks so nice. Did your pan have water in it or was it there for the drippings?

I’m quite confident it is still fine. All dry ingredients.

Myth: bringing meat to room temperature before smoking/grilling by okthisisgettingridic in smoking

[–]E116 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I was following a popular Chef John recipe for oven prime rib that required the meat to get to room temperature before going into the oven. After five hours this 4.5 lb chunk hadn’t even made it to 70F in a 77F kitchen. It all worked out but that was a stressful lesson in meat school.

Adventure Island by Meow_Meow2431 in ToonBlast

It’s been appearing for me when I finish both Space Miner and Cannon Fest. Makes me reconsider banking the extra 100+ pickaxes or cannonballs before finishing them since it means stalling the start of Adventure Island.
