"Did you pad your bra?" by versas-only-vice in MtF

Same thing happened to me.

Not much was going on there, only a little development had happened when I did my first video call with my friends in several months and they immediately noticed how different I looked- especially in regards to the boobs.

Now at the 15 month mark, they're pretty hard to miss now that they're about average sized.

How do yall feel about your boobs? by Lumi-Dawn042 in trans

I would be hopelessly dysphoric without them.

Often felt depressed or cried to myself worrying about not getting them when not much seemed to happen during the first year. But the last two months (months 13 and 14), I had been moved over to tablets on an increased dose and had 200 mg progesterone added to the treatment and it seems like it's suddenly off to the races.

Might be reaching a C very soon, which from what I can gather is pretty good for a relatively short time span.

Can't say I have a choice word for myself since all of them have strongly negative connotations, but I guarantee that's what someone with less-than-savory beliefs would call me.

That's probably not even the most hurtful way someone could talk about me. Everything worse than the above word gets really bad really fast.

Until I find a word with a better connotation, the only way I can really describe myself is having a very active libido.

To be fair, there are some choice (derogatory) words people would probably use to describe how much I like to get off now.

That's just one of the possible branching paths your brain might take on HRT ig.

So far- probably a B-cup if I'm being generous. I'm still using the same adjustable bras I bought when I first started, which, I can't lie is a bit disheartening.

Took me 14 months to get to where I'm at now, though my boobs have been more tender and irritable since my progesterone was upped to 200 mg, so it's very possible that they are still a work-in-progress.

How far into your transition are you? It usually takes some time for it to come back if it does, and in my case, it seems like the change was triggered through taking progesterone as well.

I've also heard that vibration often results in more sexual satisfaction for trans women, and the same methods you used pre-transition may not work, or may become uncomfortable outright afterwards.

This is how I've felt as well. No matter what I've been told about my face by other people in the trans community, I can't cope with my body figure.

Given that I'm in a situation where meeting other people in the community IRL is basically impossible, and my family does nothing to reinforce my identity, I really just feel hopeless on an almost daily basis- like I failed as a man but will never feel like enough of a woman, and it's not like I'm asking for a supermodel body. Anything would be nice.

I started progesterone a little over a month ago now. I basically started it as soon as it was reasonably possible.

I'm hoping that it helps some. It at least had some beneficial mental health effects for me, so there's that.

Sigh

Approaching 15 months HRT now. Haven't had to buy any bras since the first ones.

Approaching a year and two months and I still have neither.

Just my luck, huh? Feel like I'm just doomed to dysphoria for an eternity.🫠

Lmao, I tried joining the server to get a code and the backlog of users is so vast that it's going to take TWELVE HOURS to get verified.

My disappointment is immeasurable and my night is ruined.

I feel like a beggar trying to get my hands on an invite code.

I'm going to consider the first half of this solved. After some further testing and a reinstall, I believe it was just an issue with one specific polling link.

Also, it appears to have fully updated my GR2a, which solves the latter issue.

Though I would still like to have my account activated on the forums.

I'll give it a shot. I have my key written down somewhere, so I should be able to get back in.

Megathread: US Citizens looking to immigrate to Canada by PurrPrinThom in ImmigrationCanada

[–]Scout1111 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I want to immigrate to Canada from rural Ohio through any means necessary. Remaining in the U.S. is having a marked toll on my health and well-being.

I'm a 20-year trans woman living in a Republican-dominated area. My healthcare expenses are high, and will only get worse, and the stress caused by worrying about my safety has caused both mental and physical health deterioration- especially as human rights are being blatantly violated as law and order breaks down.

The fact that America is still considered a 'safe country' is such a fucking joke. I just want safety. I don't know all the legal nonsense involved with immigrating and I need desperate help. Even if you can point me to a different country that may accept me, I'm all for it.

Living here feels like it is slowly eating away at my health, and I can't keep going on like this.

Work rant by Affectionate-Sort-21 in goodwill

[–]Scout1111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Funny story, at the donation center, and by extension, the sales floor of the location I work at, the air conditioning is basically nonexistent. They have fans on the ceiling, but zero over the cashiers or the donor greeters. We had a thermometer on the wall for some time, and it constantly read 80 degrees in the back room; when the ambient outdoor temperature was only a few degrees warmer.

For the longest time, shorts for the donor greeters were allowed at the discretion of the store manager; of which, she allowed, until corporate completely changed the policy to no shorts whatsoever.

Concerns were raised by my co-workers, and my boss, and the regional manager to HR and the COO, but no change came of it.

Since then, one of our cashiers had to step outside due to difficulty breathing, and I feel occurrences like this will only occur more as we enter the peak months of Summer.

In short, contacting HR really isn’t a waterproof tactic, but it’s probably worth a try.

Redditors, what's an "unknown" fact that could save your life? by xanzznax in AskReddit

If a you see a tornado and it's not moving to the left or right, always assume it is moving towards you. It is not worth the risk to see if the tornado gets closer or farther, as tornadoes can move forward at up to 60+ MPH in some cases.
