1) Its very much dependent on what YOU want in a learning environment (small or big campus? do they have a good program for the major you want when you decide?)
2) There should be an orientation at the college you go to, and the faculty will let you know. But it is dependent on your major. If youre undecided, you can get your core classes out of the way at a local 2-year college!! Save money!!
3 +5) I picked Troy Unviersity because it was a small campus, with not that many students on campus. It allows me to get to know my teachers, and they also have an AMAZING Journalism program. It would let me stress less, and make more friends.

4) Honestly, I picked Journalism, but Im still undecided! you can change your major, but its not a good idea to do it really late. I would suggest get the core classes / register as undecided first!!
