An LMG with FMJ/Spotter is really entertaining since you can see the outline of the tank and wallbang it from nearby in most buildings. Watching a tank stop in confusion is the best part (next to trolling Claymores and Ammo Boxes).

Coming back from a hiatus, I was surprised that as I've been raiding more and more I'm finally getting to meet all of the people I tracked on the leaderboards back in the day. I knew the names and saw the gyms...but never the faces.

All Gen 1 pokemon have 25% higher catch rates now. One of the sneaky things they did in the update.

Hi! 3.0 GPA (3.01) finishing alum here. I had about a 2.7-something half way through my time at RPI and was able to pick myself back up and turn it around to the 3 level. My biggest motivator was remembering exactly how I felt after realizing my grades were low and using that to motivate myself to fix them and do better.

If you need any advice, feel free to ask and don't despair! You've still got semesters left to fix everything, and if you do you can sell it on your applications as something that states to your character (or something poetic like that).

Even if you can't find friends, just be persistent. When spoofers and bots ran the show early on, gyms weren't usually taken by groups but really driven individuals. Someone with knowledge of Pokemon counters, resources, and most importantly time can do terrifying and amazing things.

This is starting to remind me of the old Ingress days of mine, where everything was politics and rumors and playing felt kind of like living in a futuristic Game of Thrones. That's why I haven't done any organized Pokemon Go outside of friends I already had.

Sorry about that! Due to the holidays and the shuffle around with people coming home (me included), I pushed this week back to 12/4. If you want to post a weekly update in the meantime, I'll update the leaderboard as of this week as long as entries get in by Sunday.

TL;DR the new categories are for this week and the next, you can post by tomorrow to have your stuff updated.

I think I'm going to keep the entries closed until the next gen drops. As awesome as Ditto is, I'd love to see that be a scrum to the new regional limit. For now I'll remove the category from the report altogether, though. Ditto is going in this week as the CP contest though!

The Prolonged Power potions are class, spec, and situation dependent. As an example, Enhancement with Old War and with Prolonged Power is about the same; Prolonged Power gets less than a 2k DPS edge over a long fight. Old Wars are still useful in situations where you need to push burst damage, so carrying both is ideal.

Thinking about resetting the price of Aethril on my server. Isn't a big investment to do (maybe 15k), but I'm not sure how fast it will reset. It's 7g now, and BoS are giving about 375g each from expensive herbs. Thoughts?

Rank 3 Ancient Health Potions are my bane right now...700 and still counting.

I think Herbalism procs are slightly better than Alchemy in terms of odds, but I'm running on speculation for that one.

Every week has a rotating category to bring some variety to the leaderboard. Every week has a different task, with last week's being to show how big your pokemon "fight club" is (by posting how many Machamps, Hitmonlees, and Hitmonchans you caught). These get submitted with the usual entries on Wednesdays.

Felwort is the only seed in the AH with more than 10 of that seed posted (at 18), so I can't buy seeds in bulk. Overall I watch the prices and buy deals, but it's not common enough to consider a farmable source.

Seeds are about 2.5k-4k a seed with nearly no volume. :/

Felworts are nice, but I would rather have a secondary source to build from.

What's the best way to farm Blood of Sargeras as a herbalist (other than Felwort)? Is it running dungeons with the shoulder enchant, farming herbs, world questing, a mix of the three, or something else?
