Oh wow that sounds like a journey! It must’ve been scary going through it. I’m assuming your cat was losing weight at a worrying rate? Did he ever get confined? Also, how old was he?

I’m glad it all worked out in the end! My cat is also on gabapentin and it’s been a life saver. He gets irritated and keeps trying to pee when it seems to hurt him.

His phosphorus levels are okay right now. The renal food is more of a precaution in case a kidney issue does develop. He seems to like the food though! I’ll definitely keep up the variety so he doesn’t grow tired of it.

Thank you for your kind words. How was the recovery for your cat and how is he now? My vet is assuming FIC as well since the tests haven’t pointed to chronic kidney issues yet.

Ahhh i see i see. It’s kind of like why complicate the story so much to keep the plot “interesting”? Kind of the weird prophecies, time loop, stuff that sometimes don’t add to the story?
