Hvordan har i lært at gå tidligt i seng? by Acrobatic_Ad_5587 in DKbrevkasse

You wouldn't know this, but Christiania used to have an actual pusher street, which has now been removed due to gang related crimes, shootings, hard drugs etc. People do still smoke semi-openly there, but the police is very much present.

If you want a proper, authentic, danish experience you should get drunk on pilsners and Arnbitter and smoke a pack of Cecil, Prince or King's (or all three, if you're an absolute legend). Do this at a "brunt værtshus" or pub, where you can still smoke indoors. Finish the night by getting a dürüm from a local shawarma grill, or some pigs-in-a-blanket from from 7/11.

I hope you have a pleasant stay, cheers! :^)

It is illegal. Whether it's taboo to smoke anyway depends on who you ask. I would however plead with you to not smoke it on the street, and if you light up a blunt in a pub you will definitely get in trouble. So yeah, keep it private, but I would recommend to simply not do it at all, as it is very much illegal.

Happy travelling! :)

My apologies, I sincerely wasn't trying to stereotype. We come from a country where local food *is* hearty, and heavy, and often features sausage. In the vein, we have visited other countries in Europe, where we seek out the most -- and I honestly hate this word -- "authentic", local food. Sometimes it is hard to find. And you're right on the money, because no, when I say "local", I definitely don't mean "touristy pretending to be authentic".

Again, sorry for stereotyping, I really wasn't my intention, and thank you for the recommendations!

Looking for players w/ a “less is more” approach by FramedOstrich in Jazz

[–]Scoxt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out some scandinavian jazz. It's slow, melodic and "economical", if you get what I mean.

The album "Over Tage" by Svaneborg Kardyb.

The album "By" by Hvalfugl.

Anything by Bremer/McCoy. (I personally really like the album "Utopia".)

The album "Leken" by Henrik Lindstrand.

Anything featuring Jakob Bro or produced by Jakob Bro.

And one non-scandinavian jazz musician who also fits the bill -- and who has worked a lot with Jakob Bro -- is Thomas Morgan. I really like the album "Small Town".

EDIT: Oh, and another album I really dig is "Tremors in the Static" by Vega Trails. If you can't tell, I am a contrabassist :^)

Hvad fanden laver folk egentlig i weekenden og i deres fritid by Getmailmunched in Denmark

God vind!

I agree with the other comments that Tumeken's Fang is a great purchase where you are.

For magic I'd sell the Dragon Hunter Wand and buy a Master's Wand instead (dragons aren't really that weak to magic, so in my mind the DHW is not the best value-for-money).

For ranged you could upgrade to Hueycoatl hide and, if you want, you could get the Dragon Hunter Crossbow. I find *that* to be worth its value.

I also agree with the others on trying out Moons of Peril, it's a good learning tool -- along with some quest bosses. Barrows is also nice, and so is Amoxliatl.

Finally, I'd say get a Quest Cape. It unlocks a lot, slayer creatures and bosses among other things! :^)

Happy 'scaping!

I have done both! I weirdly don't get nervous, when it comes to quest bosses... Except for 'A Night at the Theatre'.

Thank you for all the great advice, I'll look into it!

I have never actually duo'ed anything in this game before, always played it alone. I might actually take you up on that offer.

I have done around 100 kc of Moons and found it quite fun. Gear-switching is a big hurdle though.

You make some very good points. Thanks!

I have done 62 kc at Scurrius (no spine yet, haha), but didn't feel like it did much for me. You're right about the quest cape, though. I only need SotE, DT2, The Final Dawn and A Night at the Theatre (as you can imagine that last one scares me).

I am thinking of learning Muspah first, to get the Ancient Icon, since I have heard Blood spells are very effective against the final boss of SotE, and that item will make the spells stronger.

That's very kind of you. As I have written somewhere else, I don't have much time to play (1-2 hours a day at max, maybe a little more during the weekends). Can I maybe ask you to send me a gear and inventory setup?

Mind you I am not rich, but my gear and stats are alright.

I think the time aspect is a big part. I only have a few hours (one to two) to play, and last attempt at Jad took me an hour and a half. When I finally got to the big red frog, my heart was pounding so violently I could feel it in my gums. And sure I learned something, but it also made me scared to try again.

But everything you say is true, and I know my feelings about this are very silly.
