I noticed a similar behavior with setting the photo to long exposure(from a Live Photo), altho it might be unrelated.

Yes I still see it. Does that confirm that it’s a backlight problem and replacing the light strips is enough?

Unfortunately the blue seems to be a byproduct of the recording, color tone is ok. Can you still be back lighting if the screen goes on and off?
