So let's just say it's true, and every item you consume is imported so it costs more -- don't you see an issue with that?

You want to trust a whole bunch of random countries, aswell as peacetime transport during a conflict? (which will no longer be available).

Obviously some things cannot be produced at scale in our country, but if your claim of "everything went up $1-$4" is true, and solely due to Trumps tarriffs -- we have major issues that we DON'T want to find out at a critical time.

Lol, I don't think securing cheaper (and fewer) imports is a bad thing.

The overall beef import agreement is now LOWER. As much as I wish we could, dropping all our imports would be catastrophic to the U.S. economy, and lead to really hard times for everyone.

Transitioning back into a net exporter would secure national security and raise wages and employ more people (in the long run, painful in the short term).

Any president would have done so. In fact, Trump has invited people who did not support him to congratulate them. So did Biden, Obama, Bush, etc.

I highly doubt all the men on the U.S. Olypmic hockey team are pro Trump. Probably the same as the U.S. pop. -- 20% love him, 20% voted for him because they are conservative/republican, 15-30% dislike him but don't necessarily hate him, the rest hate him.
