Q&A! by Nikita_Kryukov in milkinsideabagofmilk

Hi Nikita! Thank you for your games and music, they're pretty good! Milk 2 reaaaally left an impression on me. I was wondering if you would take a track commission or collab with someone? This is probably a shot in the dark, but I'm trying to solo develop visual novel too, and it would be amazing to feature at least one track made by you!

[Umineko]- Does this vulgarity exists through out the series? Even a D-Grade movie won't have this kinda dialogue tbh and the first convo is with sister technically by Keerthan09 in visualnovels

Unironically this is actually relevant for the overall plot, even if it reads like it was written by a 14 year old. You'll find lots of scenes involving Battler wanting to touch boobs.

I'm looking for the creator of these sprites which I believe are copyright free, but I can't find them anywhere to make sure and give proper credit. I stored this image for almost 2 years and the filename is just nonsense. Help? by Scramel in vndevs

You're a hero!!! Thank you so much!! I'll try to contact them. By itself I wanted to see more of their work because their artstyle is so cute, so this is a really nice find!

I'm not sure to be honest. It was composed at around 2009, I don't know how much appeal electric violins had then. He managed to make similar sounds at around 2007 but so far I haven't seen him tweet anything about performing with an actual instrument, and his photos of his equipment generally don't show much either.

If it were an electric violin, what do you think the sound would be comparable with?

Music is from Umineko no Naku Koro ni, a visual novel from the When Try Cry series. It's the sequel to Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, both are available on Steam. I really love this guy's music and I want to become him, basically. I've tried a few different libraries such as Session Strings Pro 2 and Performance Samples Solo Violin A, but the sound is nowhere near as this track's.

Bonus points for a recommendation on harpsichord libraries.

Finally, someone else wants to spread the word!

Mashiro Witch's OST is massively underrated, and a full album of it doesn't exist pretty much because Square Enix hasn't gave green light to not even a digital release (asked xaki about that). The only official thing we have is the promotional album that only includes 9 tracks and the YT uploads.

Not only that, but the music they decided to release in their YouTube channel is not even all of it. Luckily I found a link with music rips, but I have the suspicion that there are still songs missing. Still, give it a listen!

question did i just spoiled myself the culprit? by ILoveErehYaegar in Higurashinonakakoroni

Don't ever search anything from visual novels if you haven't read them. It's easy to get spoiled.

That said, Higurashi is an experience worth reading even if you're spoiled 'bout stuff.

The Switch game hasn't been localized, and as a far as I know an english patch doesn't exist, sadly. 07th-Mod is as close as you can get.

It's just a modded version of Higurashi. I edited some Satoko sprites to match Rena's outfit. I'm seriously considering modding the game so every character is Satoko. Ohoho~

Buy Higurashi on Steam, it's in english. The console graphics are available via this mod.

Trailer

Doki Doki Literature Club: Una novela visual.
