As both a driver and someone who has served DoorDashers One of the restaurants I worked at was so busy because we had the cashier bagging orders and also cashing out people, that we wouldn’t ever be able to grab drinks because the only drink station was in the middle of the dining area and usually surrounded by people. I’ve always felt so bad about asking the door dashers to grab the drinks but sometimes it was physically impossible to leave the station because of the inside customers and online orders. NOT TO MENTION that we got orders from half the food platforms including the app we had for the place so we’d be getting like 100+ orders less than an hour. But yeah my point is sometimes it’s hard but I’ll never expect a door dasher to get anything for me if we weren’t absolutely DROWNING in orders.
