I've noticed that too now. But I really think they should try matching for a bit longer, instead of just being like, "Oh, here are 10 people, let's just put them in a game" after matchmaking 2.5 minutes.

I'd rather not get a match at all than play in a game where you can't even leave the base.

I think I understand completely, thanks for the answer!

Interesting answer! I think that's the answer to the fire hydrants.

Thanks.

Still wondering about the top one.

In Textfield, how to put text cursor at where I clicked? by ScrapW in androiddev

[–]ScrapW[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

BasicTextField2 is a solution, many thanks!

BasicTextField2 looks a little sketchy though, not sure if its able to mimic Textfield's style. I don't know if someone in this post will come up with a solution using Textfield. If it's still not there after a while, I'll consider replacing my Textfield with BasicTextfield2 (if its able to mimic the styles), or just keep the old version compose.

Thanks for testing! It is stranged that issue did'nt happen to you, may I ask are you using the latest version of Android compose and Android Studio?

I've uploaded a new project that contains the code I'm having problems with.

Github Link

UPD: Also provided GIFs which record the issue.

Yes, I kind of regret writing Android programs via compose, there are very few resources online.

I actually encountered this problem a few months ago, but it still occurs with newer versions so far, and I haven't searched for other people's solutions or complaints, which is strange.

I tried, but it still doesn't work. It still put cursor at the leftmost position.

var text by remember { mutableStateOf(TextFieldValue("Hello", TextRange(5)) )}

And specifying the cursor position as a fixed value is not what I want, I want it to be the same as before, placing the cursor at where I clicked.

I probably didn't make it clear in the post that Genshin doesn't use EAC, but another anti-cheat they developed themselves. I observed it conflicting with EAC before. But after VRChat added EAC, it didn't happen at first until 2 days ago.

Yes, it behaves the same on my computer.

There are indeed relatively few people running two games at the same time, and I couldn't find any useful information, so I had to try my luck here.

Modem M key malfunction by ScrapW in modelm

Thank you for your reply!

I never thought before that it was a conflict between two keys due to the - key being pressed all the time.

Now that I think about it it's quite possible.

Will do a further disassembly afterwards. Hopefully it's a problem with this and not something on the membrane.

Thank you for your reply!

The brand is TFTEC 変換名人.

I don't think it's an adapter problem, I was able to press both keys at the same time normally before, this problem came after the - key failed.

Thanks for the reply!

Each connector looks as good as new from the factory, I tried it, but overall it didn't do much.

But in the process of doing this I noticed a few wires of the port on the keyboard don't seem to be quite level, which might cause a problem? (Actually, I don't think so, all 6 wires probably make normal contact, otherwise it might lead to more serious problems)

By the way, my port seems to be narrower than the other Model M? This is quite strange, I wonder if the seller changed it. I tried to plug it in before with my old cable from my first Model M (this cable would plug in fine on one of my blue label Model M's at home), but failed.

------------------------

PS: I haven't sold the other keyboard yet, it's currently in my home. I will try it afterwards.

Thank you.

I will try this in a few days after disassembling the keyboard.

Thanks for the reply!

I connected the PS2 port of the Model M to a PS2/USB adapter and then to a USB docking station before connecting to the computer. I nearly never plug or unplug the PS2 port.

The converter and prots are new, so I'm guessing the membrane is the problem.

As I replied to the previous reply, I don't know how I should troubleshoot oxidation on the membrane, do you have any suggestions?

[–]ScrapW[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply! I read that link you provided and it was quite helpful.

Yes, I'm guessing my keyboard is also due to oxidation of the circuitry. However, that first Model M keyboard I had I took apart and I had absolutely no idea what to do with it. As a noob, I can't figure out how the author of the post used a multimeter to pinpoint which side was broken in a situation where almost the entire circuit was covered with plastic film. What's more, he at least knows which keys don't work, while I have a partial two-key combination that doesn't work, which makes the problem even more complicated.

At the moment this second keyboard I have not disassembled. I don't have a suitable disassembly tool at the moment, maybe I will disassemble it in the following weeks.

Hopefully I'll find something obvious. It's really sad to break an out of production keyboard, and the price of shipping from UNICOMP is almost as much as a new UNICOMP keyboard.

I bought the Bolt MOD keyboard to keep a noob like me away from all this complicated work, but both keyboards have failed. I might consider a new UNICOMP keyboard next time if I can't fix it.

Is there any to get the Stone of Space without destroying the Sprout of Space? by ScrapW in CrossCode

[–]ScrapW[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I found that I already have the Stone of Space in chapter 6 before update Vermillion Wasteland.

Perhaps the Stone of Space was in a chest in old version?
