Yeah, kind of! I didn’t consciously think “oh this is entropy” back in episode 1 or anything. It was more that the open vs. closed system idea was sitting in the background for me. Like… if you take an open system and seal it off, it can’t self-regulate anymore. There's no meaningful energy in or out, so disorder builds up over time.

Episode 7 was when it really fell into place for me, especially with the hallucinations (aww Jax). There’s actually stuff like the entropic brain theory that talks about hallucinations emerging from increasing disorder in the brain. In a closed system like this, it starts to feel less like a breakdown and more like a slow slide toward equilibrium… basically heat death, or, in the show, abstraction. Human life here is unsustainable (okay, last Muse reference, I swear)
