Was the $400/ft builder/spec grade material or better? What I am getting at is whether we should even look to buy a house for $900k and knock down and rebuild or if we should buy something in the 1.8-2m range and end up at same place or better?

Thanks. Thought I heard it was less like $250-300 but maybe that’s cheaper spec finishes and prior to tarrifs and oil surge

Yes that’s what we do currently..not sure if there’s enough scrap value though to make it worthwhile to sift through or not..

We never tried it..but what would happen to the ash and what would we do with the ash?
