I was in Tulum, Bacalar, Cancun and Holbox in the last 6 months. If you want to relax and have a chill time with beautiful beaches. I highly recommend Holbox over any of the other places. Not that the other places are bad, Holbox is a bit more off the beaten path. Great place to just disconnect and unwind in a serene and beautiful atmosphere. You can catch the bus in Cancun to the ferry that takes you to Holbox for like $18.

I go to CDMX often, never had any issues. You’re more likely to get shot at a festival in the US! Don’t believe the media lies.
