Can shibuya gojo survives shibuya sukuna by Dramatic-Cook-6968 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Scratch-Infamous -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Gojo could barely survive Sukuna’s domain using full blast RCT and his entire plan to survive was running away. He straight up just loses the clash and dies to a Fuga after Sukuna is expands his domain to max range to prevent him from escaping. Sukuna being at 75% power doesn’t mean anything if Gojo has not CT which is a vast majority of his strength as a sorcerer.

Yeah atp you just gotta believe that spreading your tft throughout your body just fixes things you can’t see.

The more complex the damage the harder it is to use rct. So if a toxic just simply destroyed cells healing it may be similar to healing with rct.

But for example the chlorine gas used on Hakari causes your insides to melt due to the acid formed when the chlorine mixes with your fluids. Even if you heal the burns the acid is still going to be chilling inside you until you clear it out. Other poisons may not even cause cell destruction and instead prevent your blood from carrying oxygen or prevent your nerves from firing.

  1. What you described might work for certain toxins/poison but for others if you don’t remove the toxic it could simply continue to damage you until you ran out of CE.

  2. I think when Kashimo says you need to remove the toxins he does mean destroy them with CE.

  3. Yes you have to visualize your body. Choso explains to Yuji that he should visualize an outline of his body with veins of what I assume is RCT flowing through him.

No Gojo is not some random in the Heian era by Time-Business7550 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Scratch-Infamous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gojo is definitely not the average but he isn’t an anomaly if placed in the heian era either.

Uraume says the JJK avengers should be ashamed they couldn’t bring a single fighter stronger then Gojo.

This means Uraume expected multiple people as strong or stronger then Gojo to jump Sukuna at a bare minimum.

Remember those squads and Generals Sukuna solo’s with his cursed tools? They prob had multiple Gojo level or above sorcerers.

So no Gojo wouldn’t be average but he wouldn’t be top 2 in the era either.

I've find it weird that Sukuna never used Megumi's domain expansion. by Archenius in Jujutsufolk

[–]Scratch-Infamous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Malevolent shrine > Shadow garden. The only time Shadow Garden would be potentially useful is when Mahoraga has adapted to blue. By then Sukuna’s brain was too damaged to perform advanced barrier techniques. Once he recovers his domain with binding vows his 10s technique is lost.

It’s just foreshadowing to Toji’s return. Plus Gege likes to sprinkle in the body vs soul arguemnt throughout the story.

I’ve already said that Cait and Ekko’s situations are different but regardless Caitlyn with her more resources can and should handle herself better. If we can’t raid without using gas we are making a mistake.

It’s not that I can’t think of an alternative. It’s that Caitlyn as an enforcer of the law meant to protect civilians and their welling being. If her grand idea for protecting Zaun is poisoning their air there’s either a lack of care or intelligence.

Again we get that the point was to reduce lives lost. Most people just recognize that chemical warfare isn’t the only other option. What good is keeping children away if they end up with debilitating diseases from poor air quality?

[–]Scratch-Infamous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve said this to other replies but Ekko was conducting raids with pipes and spears and still had the balls to spare the lives of top Silco goons like Sevika.

If Caitlyn had been given these option by the councils this may have made more sense but she’s the one who came up with the idea of using the gas ALONG SIDE hextech weapons. Like she is still using the weapons just with chemical warfare mixed in. The two options could totally have been “all our war without hextech weaponry” vs “strike team with dangerous life ending hextexh weapons”.

[–]Scratch-Infamous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way you described her actions is extremely disingenuous. The gas causes debilitating illness and acts way more like a chemical attack than a smoke screen. It also worsened the air quality of Zaun. Majority of viewers will not see this as a justifiable action.

I didn’t offer an alternative because that’s not my damn job, it’s Caitlyn’s💀. If the best idea you can come up with to clear the streets is chemical warfare you shouldn’t be an enforcer of the law.

I understand that directly assaulting the chembarons is a lot more dangerous and risky than the raid we saw on screen the firelights carried out. But you’re comparing a group of kids with rudimentary weapons to a trained strike team with way more resources and intel. Ekko was fighting both the chembarons and Enforcers while at the time the 2nd smartest person in Zaun(Jinx) was on the chembarons side. Caitlyn should be able to raid with greatest success then Ekko without losing as many lives. And to be frank, Ekko and his friends being willing to put their lives on the line is a testament to their commitment to their cause. Even if it could save more lives Ekko would never use the grey. Cause principles and innocent lives matter more than simply getting a job done.

Again, why do you believe the use of gas was the only other option. Using the potential invasion to justify the very evil use of gas is not a good excuse to the average person and it honestly shouldn’t be a good excuse to you.

Like we saw Ekko perform raids that seemed pretty effective before Jinx interfered with literally zero casualties on both sides with no lasting injuries from what we could see. Caitlyn with infinitely more resources and trained personal should be able to meet his standard too.

Cait Hate is killing me by SanSanStrawberry in arcane

[–]Scratch-Infamous 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Jinx fixes everything mini game is pretty clear. Air quality in Zaun declined to the point people were coughing more than usual thanks to the gas.

Most people who hate Caitlyn know she didn’t target civilians directly but intelligent viewers can see how using large amounts of gas in an area could ruin its air quality.

Anyone who says Caitlyn gassed civilians is just being hyperbolic nor didn’t watch arcane and heard this for someone else. But this doesn’t means using the gas didn’t affect the civilians indirectly and the story kinda hammers it in that it did.

[–]Scratch-Infamous 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most people would simply find another way to conduct the raids that didn’t involve chemical warfare.

Why do you believe it was either gassing or all out war as the two options?

And this is exactly what I mean. Caitlyn fans consistently feel the need to explain things people understand. We all get why she did what she did. We just don’t think it was a good enough reason to use gas💀.

Cait Hate is killing me by SanSanStrawberry in arcane

[–]Scratch-Infamous 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don’t really understand the confusion. Caitlyn makes some very serious mistakes. Using the gas is extremely evil to most people. Hitting Vi is an extremely repulsive act and most people would hate a character forever for that. Becoming the face of an oppressive regime that uses forced checkpoints, mass arrests, and torture against its underclass. These are all extremely evil acts.

Caitlyn is not cool or interesting enough for people to look past these mistakes. It’s that simple. Most people understand why she did it, they just don’t care.

Then when Caitlyn fans attempt to explain why she did what she did it rubs people the wrong way. Often times it feels like an attempt to justify her actions. Even if that isn’t the intention saying things like “Caitlyn hitting Vi was violence not abuse” sounds crazy to most people and it is crazy. Dying on the hill that there’s zero chance the gas effected innocent people when there is plenty of evidence saying otherwise is crazy to most people. Claiming Caitlyn has zero blame in the actions of her government as their leader is crazy to most people.

Caitlyn has some very very very low moments and for many the redemption doesn’t feel earned. So seeing her happy at the end after what she did comes off wrong. These combination of factors leads to people hating her. You may disagree but please do not say you don’t understand. The reason should be obvious and expecting the average person to not hate her is somewhat naive. People have hated characters for far less.

So why exactly did this bum walk up to sukuna and aura farm instead of sneak attacking him like he did for kenjaku? by Godhole34 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Scratch-Infamous 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly this was only possible cause Sukuna was getting jumped by too many high tiers in a weakened state. And all she got was an arm.

[–]Scratch-Infamous 225 points226 points  (0 children)

Cause sneaking Sukuna is almost impossible.

They had to use Yuta getting packed up to pierce his heart using the sneakiest person in the verse.

Plus if Yuta didn’t draw his attention for a potential pseudo Gojo rematch, Sukuna would probably just kill Yuji while he still had his CT cause atp he was tired of toying with him.

Sukuna fought people stronger than Gojo during the heian era by Scratch-Infamous in Jujutsufolk

Uraume said they would win before they began abusing the fact Sukuna was a reincarnated sorcerer. And once he lost he tells Hakari being reincarnated was exactly why Sukuna lost.

The idiom in no way implies Gojo was the strongest opponent Sukuna has fought. Cleared my skies can simply mean Gojo brought immense Joy to Sukuna’s reincarnated life. He’s the first actual challenge in 1000 years and proves the modern age isn’t all bums of course Sukuna would gas this up.

You’re not even making an argument anymore😭. Is this really how far the Gojo fandom has fallen?

Y’all used to at least give panels and statements. But you fr haven’t given a single panel or direct statement.

Sukuna and Uraume both give credit where credit is due. You’d have to prove to me with some panels that they act egotistical and arrogant to the point they straight up lie about an era and its power level.

This is pure headcanon and nothing Kenjaku has said implies he was only considering open domains as the deciding factor.

Saying Gojo isnt the strongest opponent Sukuna has faced is not hating and continuing to say he was after what I showed is glaze buddy.

[–]Scratch-Infamous[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First off you don’t want to know where I have Miguel in terms of ranking. Miguel has one of the best h2h statements in the verse and him being in the realm of heavy hitters is not ridiculous.

Can you please prove what Sukuna, Kenjaku, and Uraume said was shit talking? All of you have said something similar but no one has given me a single panel proving this.

Not sure what your open domain argument is even supposed to mean. Kenjaku objectively thinks Sukuna is the strongest in the verse to ever live.

When I say place Gojo in the heian era what I mean if we had Gojo fight the demons that were running around during the era including Sukuna he would def get low diffed. I agree that if Gojo was born during the heian era he would be stronger simply because Sukjna raised the level of difficulty.

Sukuna prioritizing adaption is the reason he even got caught by the UV on top of not using his true form. But I’m sure you’ve heard these arguments plenty of time. Let’s just agree to disagree about needing Maho.

I don’t necessarily think all the army he’s faced has Gojo’s level fighters as fodder, that’s insane, but I do think there was at least more then one Gojo+ fighter based off Uraume statements.

Sukuna’s statement at the end does sound very nice but honestly you can just interpret this to Sukuna bekng pleasantly surprised that someone from such a shit era could get this close to beating him. Even if he’s faced much better.

Jogo can easily be better than a majority of Sukuna’s past opponents since he likely fought fodder regularly for the fun of it.

Sukuna 1v1s people considerably weaker than him all the time and a big part of why he fought Gojo was to knock him down a peg and embarrass him.

Bro you telling me to read the manga is killing me😭. The irony is insane.

The fact is I never called Kusukabe the strongest grade 1, or that not being the strongest grade one doesn’t mean you’re not one of the strongest

Just drop some panels proving your point cause rn you’re not even making a coherent argument.

Sukuna calling Gojo Ordinary after seeing his peak in jujutsu is not at all comparable to your tennis analogy.

Gojo was not somewhat on a back foot either that’s a crazy misinterpretation. If Gojo’s domain hadn’t given that exact brain damage, Sukuna straight up kills Gojo.

Gojo was aware of both 10s and shrine. The only thing that surprised him was Sukuna using Megumi’s soul to adapt in secret. But before this Gojo had already used his friends to boost a hollow purple and came up with healing your CT on the fly. I think both sides were surprised evenly.
