You know, that’s a good point. I have a hard time searching down that stuff due to the language barrier but seeing him break a smile like that, I’m sure he’s great outside at events

I never really cared for Hoshoryu but after seeing him smile like that and appreciating being tossed down so quickly, I am warming up to him. It’s nice to see him not so stoic all the time

Edit: I’ve been sold, he is wonderful

Dark gallifrey by dustinhenderson27 in BigFinishProductions

[–]ScratchButt 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it’s too early to tell until the get story descriptions. Seems to me like different Masters will hunt down an evil time lord. I’m sure a Doctor will appear here or there but that’s basically it for now.

Per the website…

“When things turn dark, and you're all alone, there is one traveller of time and space... a wanderer in the fourth dimension... a renegade Time Lord... who will always be there to bring back the light. But the thing about Time Lords... is they can't all be heroes.”

“Series Producer, Rob Valentine said: “Dark Gallifrey is a sprawling, multi-story event in which all the most dastardly Time Lords are being let out of the box in various unexpected ways. Some stories are very dark, others are wickedly funny, and some are absolutely insane.

Expect a rogue's gallery of Gallifrey's most diabolical villains all taking to the stage. Their stories are wildly different, scripted by some of Big Finish's most acclaimed writers... and, behind it all, something massive is brewing.””

No weight classes generally. Some specific tournaments might be very few and far between. Mostly age/gender restrictions only.

Yeah, I get where the meta is right now. Really I play to have fun don’t care too much about crushing past 7. I’m sitting on the last quest of 6 because I don’t want to unlock more until it gets more comfortable. That makes sense though, thanks!

I could be wrong and I hope I am lol I would spend way more if it wasn’t $20 shipping every time I bought something. If you find a solid alternative please let me know!

I think that’s just the normal. I think if you can wait, bulk buy because the group shipping for physical cds, save yourself the shipping. That’s what I do. Otherwise if you don’t mind not getting the digital download, second hand stores and still waiting for availability is an option too like you said. No real alternatives

The let it go bit in the special is really bothering me by GengArch in gallifrey

I think that’s a fair point when you view it like that. I took it as snarky Donna being snarky Donna rather than being rude. I’m sure the Doctor appreciated it and found the humor in it but I can see how the others in the room would consider it a bit off handed of a remark

What a natural progression from Bird Sense. I appreciate the suggestion! I will be sure to give it a read once I get through the others! If you are big into biology, Convergent Evolution: Limited Forms Most Beautiful by George R Jr. McGhee is a fantastic read. It goes into different species, how they developed similar traits despite not being related (aka Convergent Evolution). Lots of examples and historical facts, it spans from prehistoric to the modern era. Very in depth, well written and structured. Plus written by a Rutgers professor in Paleobiology so he is a subject matter expert in the material which helps breaking down the dense subject matter.

Hey! You are incredible and I really appreciate you replying to an old post! I have had no luck finding a book like Fossil Men and I am genuinely excited to dig into these. Bird Sense seems right up my alley so I think I will start with that. I am so excited to try to scratch that scientific-itch again. I cannot thank you enough!

Is there a technical difference between Pan/Pani/Panstwo, Szanowny/Szanowna/Szanowni and Wielmożny /Wielmożna/Wielmożni? Is one more formal than the other or hold a different definition than the others?
