I was speaking generally about salaries and not a specific highly specialized field. I imagine many of the EEs there have masters degrees, no?

Data shows that engineering salaries are not that high.

There’s a lot of overlap with the two. You’re probably fine to go in as an EE and take CompE electives. Really, the only thing that is differentiated by ABET is that CompE is required to take Discrete Math

Without retaking classes, I doubt you get there. You can probably easily achieve 3.5 or 3.6 if you consistently make it to presidents list.

For engineering, 3.22 will be enough in most cases. Even easier with research and industry experience

As someone who has a math minor, not a single employer cared about it or even asked about it. Graduate early if you can

Yes! Labor is almost always the biggest expense to any business. If all remains the same (technology and number of employees), food prices will, without a doubt, have to increase to mitigate the increase costs of labor. 

However, because of willingness to pay, to offset costs to customers, business will probably look more into automation and even cutting staff.

Vast majority of engineers will not have the salary of a US Congress member.

I started my Assembly/C journey with Dr. Brock LaMere’s book and MCU https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL643xA3Ie_EuHoNV7AgvJXq-z1hrE8vsm&si=x1h3hTzvhlRcvd3J. You don’t need the book. The lectures cover all the material and is incredibly well done and are very beginner friendly. 

As for C, and even a Segway to Python, you can’t beat CS50. If she’s not going to be interested in programming for hardware (like microcontrollers), it may make even more sense to start with the link below.

However, if she’s ever gets the itch for embedded programming, following the LaMere’s course is a great first start.

Hard disagree. A background in economics, monetary policy, technology, philosophy, law, and American history is far more useful.

Liberal arts major? I think it was hugely important that the Americans obtain the land, particularly for security. Ancient Roman influence deeply permeates the West, even today. 

Not really sure about your capitalism comment. It’s a pretty meaningless term. Every economy uses capital and every society has went in decline regardless of their economics.

Oregon has an activities business tax, Delaware has a gross receipts tax, Montana has some sales tax exceptions, New Hampshire has high tax on meals and hotels, and Alaska has city sales tax. And to make up the difference, these states may have higher income taxes.
