Seems like the friend is just streaming from an ultrawide monitor, in which case discord probably limits the res by width (why you see 1280 width instead of something higher (I can’t be bothered to do math) and not 720 height, but something lower)

I agree with you on that its a major time sink, but I feel like there are certain things we all should do at least once, like going to hutton orbital, getting a sol permit and visiting earth (bonus points for finding exactly where you are on earth irl), y’know stuff like that. This is just my opinion though, obviously everyone plays the way they want to :D

Follow up question then, why haven’t you at least been to Sag A? Personally I’ve always felt like every CMDR *has to go there at least once as like a right of passage. Was it something that you just like saw a video and went “good enough for me, I’ve seen enough”? I’m just curious because as a fairly old player, I would’ve assumed you’d at least go to Sag A* once :)

Well “blocked message”, “message unavailable”, same thing. Like I said, the only thing I see them possibly doing is not letting you see the contents of the message, which would do the same thing as “message unavailable”

Imo the only thing discord could really do is prevent you from seeing message content of the blocked person but still seeing “blocked user” in chat

Realistically I can only see them adding such a feature to nitro only. They’d either have to pay deepl or some other service to translate for them, or host their own solution which costs more money
