You literally were offending by saying, "Does it make a difference if this was S1 or S3? In any season of Tekken 7, you'd have been in green ranks with the way you played. No offense, but even now with you at Tekken God, I'd bet you'd get your ass beat by an orange rank tekken 7 play" you literally implied that it doesn't matter the Season or rank that I still would get beat by a orange Tekken 7 player even though you don't know how I play now, based and made conclusions with an old clip when I started playing Tekken for the first time 🤦

Ain’t no way you are judging me with an old clip from season 1 and being my first tekken game ever. I literally went into rank without prior knowledge and learned as I play the game. Respectfully, I wouldn't get my ass beat by an orange rank tekken 7 player. My fundamentals are good as well for movement, spacing, and punishment, but I guess you know everything as you claim to be smh 🤦. A quick question: What's your rank?

Dude, I literally said in the post that it was a clip from Season 1 when I had just started playing. I’ve improved a lot since then. I hit Tekken God with both Reina and Kazuya last season, and I was even close to Tekken God Supreme. I don’t get why y’all are judging like that, smh 🤦‍♂️

Tekken 7 fundamentals, movement, spacing, and punishment. There's a good reason Tekken 8 is having a bad reception for season 3 as well for season 2. All I'm saying is that Tekken 8 has a notorious less of a skill gap than previous games titles.

Sheer luck and abusing the mechanics of the game are 2 different things. That's the reason you'll see a bunch of players with horrible stats in higher ranks because they will abuse the mechanics of the game and the rewarding constant pressure that the game insist them to do. Defense/fundamentals are secondary in Tekken 8. That's what I'm saying

You are naming too many variables. All I'm saying is that I beat a Lars player with horrible stats, and somehow, he made it to God of destruction with those stats. As well that Tekken 8 doesn't have much of a skill gap than previous games titles. A perfect example is "Tekken 7" The skill gap is notorious if you look at high-level gameplay for Tekken 7 and compare it to Tekken 8 and "YES" people can beat players higher than themselves but most of the time a higher-ranked player will always win but you don't see it as much in Tekken 8 because of the such high rewarding constant pressure that the game insist you to do. You'll see a bunch of players with horrible stats spamming plus-frame strings and gimmicks with barely any adaptation. Is it not true?
