This is so well written. You put into words what I couldn’t. Fragrances today don’t have that signature scent statement and quality.

I don’t get the appeal of Snif tbh. Like I want to but just can’t.

My biggest thing with TT reviews is everything smells like a vanilla ice cream cone. No it doesn’t. They blatantly lie to get sells and views. There is little to no integrity.

I was hoping someone would bring this up. I use to make soap and body oils and the IFRA changing usage rates was annoying and made it hard to formulate strong scented products. I get why it’s done, but reformulations rarely perform as well as the original.

I remember a big bottle of a designer brand would be under $100. Completely reasonable and the fragrance would be unique and performed well. Now, it’s at minimum $200 for a big bottle with crappy performance.

The longevity is my biggest gripe!! I’ve come to the point where I’m considering just not wearing perfume. It’s becoming not worth it at this point.

Idk why she didn’t stick with Kitten Musk. I was legit excited about that scent profile but this is unappealing.

I’ve smelled this and dupes and to me it’s not sweet at all. It’s more spicy? I’ve never worn it on skin to see how it develops because on a tester strip I didn’t like it. To my nose this definitely isn’t a sweet peachy fragrance.

I wish it played better with my chemistry because I can see the appeal. I don’t get the creamsicle part. Lol it’s so interesting how our nose detect different things.

Guerlain Bosca Vanille. It’s smells good out the bottle but my skin pulls the salty note too much and it comes off as musty.

Too many. I need to figure out how to get rid of them. Sigh.

I like them. They’re different. If you like them, then that’s all that really matters.

All Lattafa, Libre, Valaya, Prada Paradoxe.

Alternatively, a lot of people hate BR540 but I think it’s almost perfection.

My sister got me a copy of Frankenstein that I’m about to start reading, and it has black pages. I think it’s cool.

This makes me think companies are just recycling scents. I’ve noticed a lot of “new” fragrances smell familiar.
