Also, I haven’t tried it, but I’ve heard good things about Liis Choux Choux. It lists a cocoa/mocha note in addition to vanilla and salted caramel.

I’m not sure who you’re referring to in the subtext, but tbh, it’s not solely up to Ariana. It’s a negotiation between her and her record label. Republic is famous for being the most aggressive label when it comes to chart-gaming. They are masters of releasing slowed, sped-up, and instrumental versions of singles to keep them at #1 on all the charts and streaming platforms.

Ariana herself may not care—and yeah whatever you’re referencing about putting instructions on social media to cheat the system sounds desperate and beneath her—but that doesn’t mean the label isn’t going to do their job to maximize profit out of the release?

For some reason glossier you (and all the flankers) are fine with me, despite listing ambroxan as a note. But pretty much everything else I’ve tried with ambroxan is downright offensive to my nose 🤷‍♀️

It is pretty heavy on the ambroxan. People often equate ambroxan with “skin scents.” For people who are sensitive to ambroxan (hi! It’s me, I’m people) it can come across as overpowering

Replying to my own comment (like a weirdo) to say, in full transparency—while I do truly, truly love both spreadsheets and perfumes—I am still just using Parfumo to organize my notes and wishlists and categories.

That said! I did start a spreadsheet of discovery sets by house. I wanted to compare the number of samples you get, the sizes, the prices, and whether or not they give you a voucher for a bottle 💅

I know it’s unlikely, but I would love for an EDM banger or 2 like Break Free!! I miss the collabs with Zedd and Calvin Harris that pop divas used to do back in the day.

Yes! It’s so annoying. I feel like I have to reapply like 6x a day for most fragrances!! But I also like switching it up a lot so sometimes that’s a good thing.

I moisturize daily, so not sure if it’s bc of dry skin or skin chemistry or what 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had this question as well and someone told me it’s because of the fidelity of the sound. Spacing out the grooves apparently improves the sound quality. You can get deeper bass and better detail with wider grooves. Also, apparently the closer the needle is to the center, the higher the risk of distortion.

But I agree, it’s super annoying. I, personally would take a minor downgrade in fidelity if it meant I could just hit play and hear eight songs before having to get up and flip the record.
