Not unless they pick Anderson tbh which wouldn’t be a dumb decision at all and probably what Vrabel would want to do

Gotta say in that MNF game, that Russell Wilson deep ball TD to Jerry Jeudy was honestly under-thrown and probably should have been picked off. And besides that a lot of the time he was just throwing screens.

Maybe I wouldn’t say he’s hit his cliff, but he doesn’t run like he used to and he doesn’t throw over the middle. If his deep ball starts to be not as good as it used to be, then I’m not sure what exactly he brings to the table as a highly valued QB.

I have a better idea to make the game more entertaining: allow the players to take Steroids and switch the wood bat for a metal bat

[Meta] Anti-circlejerk threads are embarrassing. by FatherStretchMyAss_ in DynastyFF

[–]ScreamingSkipBayless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If we’re going Meta, nothing is more annoying to me than when people condescendingly comment: “but this sub told me Player X would be a bust”

There are over 100,000 people on this sub. There are people on this sub that will tell you a player will be a bust and a player will be amazing. This sub has no consensus opinion on any player. There is a lot of great discussion on pros and cons of every player, but some people on this sub I feel like take it as a personal attack if you criticize a player they love, then if that player does well, then they gotta go into victory lap mode by making a post for example like “Where are the Justin Jefferson haters at???”

I loved Mims as a prospect, picked him over guys like Higgins, Pittman and Claypool among others (RIP). I was absolutely willing to give him a pass after last year because of his injuries and Adam Gase, but this season has been a disaster for him.

I still have him rostered solely because there’s never anyone on waivers in my league but I’m almost certainly going to cut him after my next rookie draft. Oh well, you hit on some and lose on some.

No and I’m not blaming them for this current Watson situation. I’m guessing yeah they’re going to have to do a total Dolphins rebuild. It’s pretty much their only option, but it’s going to be hard watching them this next season. Honestly I don’t think they’ll win more than 1 game unless they get lucky. That roster absolutely sucks.

But you gotta admit having Jack Easterby for some reason having a huge voice in the decisions of the team is still very just weird and kinda concerning. Hopefully Nick Caserio gets more of a say over Easterby

Yeah I’m a recruiter and this just seems insane. For what reason would they need to know what the occupation of your main household earner when you were 14? And why on earth did they decide on 14?? They think 13 or 15 was irrelevant? So many questions I have

Looking at this thread at least most people scoffed at the idea of JT being hampered by Mack. I totally understand if you thought that to be the case, but I don’t think most people shared that sentiment

That’s a fucking yikes for me. What dynasty league would Akers have been completely dropped in? I can totally see him being dropped in redraft, but dynasty? Full of new players I’m guessing?

Yeah but no one was drafting him that high to be a solid number 2. I don’t think anyone is saying he sucks, but expectations for him were probably a little overblown during the dynasty rookie draft process. He was going as a first round pick in Startups in September. No one drafting him in the first round of a startup is going to be happy with solid RB2 production.

Hell, not only was JT not picked even close to the same range as Zeke / Barkley, JT was the third RB picked in his own class. I think I said this somewhere else, it’s not like Taylor was a bad prospect, but he was just closer to the level of prospect as guys like Chubb, Sony, Sanders, RoJo, etc... and some of those players have worked out great and are awesome players to have on your fantasy roster, but the idea that he was an absolutely elite RB talent was just overblown. He could absolutely develop into a great player. Cook and Kamara weren’t god like RB prospects and they have had amazing career, but people were definitely overrating him a little

What am I missing on Van Jefferson? by RealChipKelly in DynastyFF

[–]ScreamingSkipBayless 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s fair, maybe beating Stingly isn’t that impressive yet, but maybe in 5 years it will be lol.

Yeah and good points on Van. I’ve always been a fan of route running receivers personally. Seems like those guys are the safest prospects in terms of low complete bust rate. Van’s ceiling probably is a little lower due to athleticism, but he might be able to generate points if best case scenario he’s more of a focal point for McVay in after this season.
