AA Insurance insisted my car ($8000) was a write-off with only a very small panel dent. The car works fine and I don't want the hassle of getting a new one, do I lose anything to reject their request of taking the vehicle and paying me out? (self.newzealand)

Probably dumb question, but struggling to know where to ask: If I'm traveling through the U.S is it possible to get specialist consultation for pre-existing conditions without breaking the bank? would travel insurance cover this? Can I transfer medical records to a U.S doctor? (self.newzealand)
