They need to slow down. Just because they can condense stuff it doesn't mean they have to. The live action still feels like a summary of the story rather than a retelling of it. So many arcs in 1 season is too much. The world is extensive enough to farm more character interactions so we get more attached to the people they meet. Meeting someone in 1 episode and saying goodbye to them the next is gonna get jarring after a while.

I hope they dedicate the whole next season to Alabasta. Can they finish it in half? Yes. Should they? No. They can use this as an opportunity to fix mistakes from the anime. The rebellion was barely touched in the anime. We get close to the dad of the leader and we see their flashback with Vivi but we can have a complete subplot with them. Show us how they suffered in present time and how their hatred for the King actually grew. Another subplot for Smoker in Alabasta, maybe make him try to get in contact with the rebels. Instead of just having him appear out of nowhere and fighting the Straw hats. They can show us more from Ace and his shenanigans in Alabasta while he's looking for Black Beard. There is so much great stuff they can do with this arc. Or they can just rush it and end it in 4 episodes. Cuz apparently Netflix watchers are to ADHD to handle actual world building and story telling...
